Luxury chalet with best skiing in the South American Andes

Luxurious rental home / apartment and ski lodge. Full home comforts in a relaxed and spacious ski chalet set in the high Andes, just one hour drive from Santiago, Chile. Enjoy the best skiing in South America, in the most appealing accommodation. Comprises two Four bedroom apartments - which can be rented individually or in combination (to create 8 bedrooms - sleep 16 pax). Each apartment has large living room with large dining area and open plan kitchen; Large balcony facing South and West; 8 person open air heated Sundance Spa Jacuzzi on Balcony; Central heating with individual room thermostat controls; Log burning fireplace; All double glazed storm windows; garage space for 1 car - plus on street parking; maids room (adjacent to the garage).

The Middle level Apartment has four bedrooms each with attached bathroom (2 with bath tubs, 2 with showers); Large living room with dining area and open plan kitchen; Large balcony facing South and West; 8 person open air heated Sundance Spa Jacuzzi on Balcony; Central heating with individual room thermostat controls; Log burning fireplace; All double glazed storm windows; garage / parking area for 1 car - plus on street parking; maids room (adjacent to the garage). Total internal floor area 156sq m, and large balcony with heated hot tub. Suggested maximum occupancy 8 persons. However one or two extra beds can be provided at an extra charge. Please note that there are only two extra beds in total for both apartments.

If your group is too large for the Middle Apartment, but not big enough to take on both apartments, please ask us about our new anexe bunk room that sleeps an extra 3 to 4 pax ( in one bunk bed and one queen bed)

Excellent for two families

William was extremely responsive and helpful. The property was in a gorgeous location and very peaceful. The skiing in Farellones was not ideal and we travelled up the mountain to Valle Nevaro most days but this was an easy drive and staying in Farellones was preferable because of the warmer weather and gorgeous sunsets. The middle apartment was better suited to us and the hot tub was more accessible and private and the fireplace was by the living room but I’m sure the lower apartment would have been nice as well. Thanks for an amazing vacation.

Exatamente conforme as fotos!! Excelente!!!

Fiquei muito surpreso com o espaço exatamente preservado conforme as fotos. O Sr. Sak, quem nos recebeu, foi atencioso e estava sempre a disposição quando precisamos. Curtimos muito a lareira todos as noites e a família até se aventurou num banho de jacuzzi aquecida. Tudo esteve funcionando full time! Nós todos gostamos muito e recomendamos! Pena não ter conhecido o Sr. William, que falei apenas pela internet via e-mail, gostaria de agradece-lo pessoalmente.

Not being a Portuguese reader, I had to have Google translate this for me - "I was very surprised with the space preserved exactly as the photos. Mr. Sak, who received us was attentive and was always available when we need to. Much we enjoyed the fireplace every night and the family even ventured a heated Jacuzzi bath. Everything was working full time! We all enjoyed and recommend! Pena had not known Mr. William, who spoke only on the internet via e-mail, would like to thank him personally." Normally I am there all the ski season to host my guests, but this year I had to return to Thailand early due to some personal reasons. I do hope that you will return next year and we can meet then.

Voltaremos com certeza

Fomos em quatro casais e dois adolescentes. A casa é muita boa. Confortável, bonita e muito bem localizada. A vista é fantastica. Adoramos curtir a lareira e a varanda no após ski. Voltaremos com certeza!!

Jose, thanks for the review. For the benefit of myself and others who do not read Portuguese, I asked Google to translate this and they said ... We'll be back ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were four couples and two teenagers. The house is a lot of good. Comfortable, beautiful and very well located. The view is fantastic. We love to enjoy the fireplace and balcony on after ski. We'll be back sure !! As a point of clarity here, Jose fitted 10 guests by taking on 2 extra beds ( for last minute additions on his trip). Normally accommodation is suggested for 8 persons.

The only place to stay when skiing the Andes

My wife and I stayed here with our three children for a week in August 2011 and our experience could not have been better! The photos accurately reflect the pristine and impeccably furnished space. Everything in the unit is high quality and brand-new. And most importantly there is lots of space. The owner could not have been more helpful and accommodating. And, of course, the skiing at is incredible! The ski lifts at Farellones are five minutes walk away – those at La Parva and El Colorado a five minute drive ( but this is not necessary as all the resorts interconnect) Don't forget to ask William to point out the direct ski trail to access Farellones - once learnt we never used the car again. We would definitely rent this space again.

Ferias em farellones

Adoramos nossas ferias de inverno na propriedade do Sr. William! Ficamos muito bem acomodados, e as fotos retratam exatamente com e na realidade. Tivemos todo suporte necessario do Sr. William para podermos programar nossas ferias, com otimas dicas e sempre muito atencioso. Otima localizacao para quem deseja praticar esqui com acesso muito facil aos elevadores! Pretendemos voltar com certeza e ficar novamente hospedado nesta casa que e maravilhosa!!

My wife (Thai) and I (British) are semi retired and now divide our time between homes in Phuket, Thailand (our previous home/business base) and now, chasing the snow, in Big Sky Montana, Bozel France and Farellones, Chile.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

After several year of searching Australia, New Zealand, Argentina and Chile for the best Southern hemisphere resort to build a vacation / retirement home (based upon quality of skiing, reliability of snow, access to shopping and services etc) we eventually decided upon Farellones at the end of the the 2001 ski season. Since Farellones filled all of our requirements, save for availability of attractive property to purchase, we bough land, hired and architect and did this the hard (but rewarding) way.

The huge open spaces, the uncrowded ski area. Total peace and relaxation.
All home comforts brought to a relatively simple and underdeveloped area.
The Snow. The Sun. Sitting in the hot tub watching the Condors circling on the thermals as the sun sets over Santiago.
