This cozy and bright apartment is totally exterior and is in a recently constructed building, so everything you see is new. It is located in a very lively area that has outstanding connections: underground station by the door and close to Plaza Castilla. Ideal if you are coming by car, as it is outside the traffic restricted area. Stay in the city center, move anywhere in few minutes and forget about your car.
The Space:
This building was constructed quite recently, so everything you see is new. The first thing we see is a spacious living room, pretty bright thanks to its large exterior windows. It is equipped with a 43" HD Android TV, hi-speed optical fibre internet connection (around 100mbps), A/C with heating mode, a dining area with a large table with room for 4 people and a premium quality sofa/bed that, when open, provides good quality rest on its 1,35m wide mattress. The kitchen is open plan and equipped with the main appliances and elements needed for cooking, apart from offering complimentary basic products such as oil, salt, coffee, sugar, etc. The bedroom has a 1,35m wide double bed, two bedside tables and a large built-in wardrobe where you can store all your clothes and belonging comfortably. The area is quiet during the night and the bedroom is oriented to a private patio, so silence and rest are during the night are guaranteed. The bathroom is located next to the entrance and it is equipped with a shower cabin, mirror, electric radiator/towel dryer and a travel hairdryer. The optional parking spot is in a secured public car park located 280 meters away from the apartment and has a cost of 12€ per day of stay.
Guest Access:
The apartment is not rented by rooms, so guests will enjoy the entire apartment exclusively for their own during their stay. The only shared space is the garage, which is a public car park, but you will always have a spot available; additionally, you can choose to park wherever you find it more convenient.
The Neighborhood:
The area where the apartment is located is a residential neighborhood, quite lively during the day as there are lots of small business around, so this location is ideal if you are looking for action during the day and a good night rest, as there is no nightlife (clubs or pubs) nearby, so silence and rest during the night are guaranteed. The area offers lots of bars, restaurants and multiple leisure options. If you are a football fan, the Santiago Bernabeu stadium is just a 15 minutes walk away and it is surrounded by fancy restaurants, pubs and clubs. Bravo Murillo and Infanta Mercedes streets offer a varied gastronomic offer (see the guide for more detailed info). If you would like to explore the city's cultural scene, 5 minutes away you may visit the Fundación Canal gallery, which offers a wide variety of exhibitions throughout the year. Close to the apartment you can find a 24h petrol station and 1 minute away there are several supermarkets, chemists and convenience stores.
Getting Around:
We offer guests the possibility of parking in a secured underground garage located 4 minutes away from the apartment for 12€ per day of stay. The nearest underground station (Valdeacederas, line 1) is literally 1 minute away and it takes you directly to Puerta del Sol in 15-20 minutes. Near the apartment there are several bus stops and a public car park. The apartment is located outside the traffic restricted area called Madrid 360 so, if you are traveling by car, you will not have any problems to get to the apartment, with the exception of high pollution episodes when restrictions apply to the entire city and old highly polluting vehicles which cannot circulate inside the M30. I recommend searching information on the internet about Madrid ZBE (Low Emissions Zone).
Other Things to Note:
The apartment is completely electric and eco-friendly as it is connected to the solar panels and batteries on the rooftop which save energy during the day. Hot water works thanks to an electric tank which, if emptied completely, only takes some 30 minutes to be working again. There is no gas installation in the apartment nor in the building, which is a safety enhancement itself.
Interaction with Guests:
I'm always available for guests if they need help with anything, although I appreciate respecting nighttime hours for non-urgent matters. As Airbnb recommends for everyone's safety—both guests and hosts—communication should always be done through the Airbnb app, and I kindly ask that phone calls be reserved for emergencies only.

Away from city center
The apartment was clean and and very well furnished. If you are looking for a place that is not in the city center, this appartment is just perfect. Well located, next to a few metro station, just steps from all essential amenities and restaurants. Also very quiet at night even if it's close to a busy street.
