Honeysuckle Cottage is a beautifully finished Cotswold stone holiday home which sleeps three guests, in two bedrooms, with a spacious bathroom. This cosy Grade II listed property dates back to the 1850s and has been renovated to retain many of the original features including exposed wooden beams and Cotswold stone walls. The open plan sitting/dining room boasts an exposed stone fireplace with wood burner, and at the rear of the cottage there is an enclosed gravel garden, ideal for those warmer months. Honeysuckle Cottage is a charming pet friendly holiday home, suitable for up to two medium sized dogs.

This two bedroom holiday cottage in Blockley is perfect for smaller families or couples seeking a romantic retreat in the heart of the North Cotswolds. The accommodation is laid out as follows:

The maximum occupancy for this property is 3 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant (aged 2 or under)
Bed linen and towels are provided (duvets and pillows are hypoallergenic)
Allocated off street parking for 1 car, with free on street parking readily available if required
Travel cots and highchairs are not provided, so guests will need to bring these with them

Excellent Location

Found this property quite by accident on line. Had no problems with the booking and the location is excellent being in the Cotswolds. Easy parking is a bonus and the local shop has all you may need. Small enclosed back garden was good for our dog and the propery well lookeed after, even said hello to the cleaner as arrived earlier than intended. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely Honeysuckle Cottage

We arrived to a warm and cosy cottage. We had been left bread , butter. milk and apple juice which was a lovely welcoming touch and much appreciated. The cottage was quaint ,homely and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed exploring the village of Blockley and surrounding villages and had a wonderful short break. We thought the key lock was a fantastic idea

A beautiful cottage in a beautiful village

This was our second stay in Honeysuckle Cottage and we will probably stay again in early 2024. It is a lovely well appointed, well equipped and very comfortable cottage. This is a comment for StayCotswolds in general. Now that we have to live with Covid and the cleaning regimes do not have to be so rigorous, it would be very useful to be able to enter the cottages at 4pm again.

Gorgeous cottage

A tiny but perfect cottage ideal for us as a couple and our 2 small dogs. Beautifully furnished with interesting photos of the old village, even old photos of the cottage itself, and quality ornaments, very homely. Ideal for both countryside and village walks from the door. Excellent customer service from the agents. A shower fault reported and a plumber sent the same day. We highly recommend this cottage and may well return when visiting relatives in the area.

Jewel that is Honeysuckle Cottage

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful cottage. It had everything we needed and was full of charm and character. The location was perfect—just a short walk to all the village amenities, and only a short drive to explore the surrounding Cotswold villages. The thoughtful little touches throughout the cottage made it feel like a true home from home. We wouldn’t hesitate to return!

Location

This cottage is in a perfect location. We found it rather small for us, 2 people in the tiny kitchen is a tight squeeze. However it has everything that's needed in it and more. We felt that the bathroom was tired and there were a few dripping and tap issues. We reported and hopefully they will be resolved for the next guests. Comfy bed and sofa to rest after a very busy day. No terrestrial tv though and we tried to work it out but couldn't. Maybe a guide is needed if it js indeed available. We will undoubtedly be booking again with StayCotswold in the near future

The cottage was in a lovely location, it says on the cottage’s information that it sleeps 4 people, it only sleeps 3!there is a double bed and a single it does say that it sleeps one child under 2 but you need to bring your own cot, I don’t know where it would go as there is no room?? It is a a lovely property with everything you need

Perfect location dream cottage

Blockley and Honeysuckle Cottage exceeded my expectations. Both were a perfect base for 5 nights to explore the Cotswolds with my hire car.The village is a hidden treasure, great walks ( including to Chipping Campden) loved the pub ( Great Western Arms) being 3 min walk from the cottage. The shop is handy and the cafe is brilliant! It's a must try.I loved the cottage. It had everything necessary to be a home away from home. On the practical side, all the basics were provided for cooking, tea coffee etc. It was lovely to see eggs, bread, milk and butter as an extra. Great washing machine, car park, beds, shower etc and other necessities. The detail the owners have provided was precious. Beautiful furnishings and little nooks and artwork that made a very cozy, cotswolds cottage. I loved the authentic thick stone walls and the quaint, cosy atmoshere. I couldn't recommend it more highly. I am 70 and travelled alone, i felt safe and secure here and the locals were so friendly. Just perfect.

The perfect getaway!

Blockley Stay

This was our 2nd visit having stayed in 2024. Excellent location being within easy walking distance of the village. The cottage is well maintained and is well stocked. Plenty of places to visit within a short drive, Gloucester Warwickshire Railway bring just one of these. Hope to visit again.

Small but perfectly formed

We arrived at the cottage on a very cold winter's night to no heating on whatsoever, and only one small log in the 'starter pack'. To say the cottage was cold was an understatement, it was positively baltic. However, once we bought some logs to get the fire going and put the heating on, it wasn't long before the cottage was warm and cosy. It was our 3rd visit to Honeysuckle Cottage, and even though it is a small property it has everything you need there and is a very comfortable space. It is very clean and well maintained with good quality furnishings. The location is great, extremely quiet, and within walking distance to the two pubs in the village and also the local (very well stocked) shop & cafe. Plenty of walks on the doorstep without having to drive anywhere. The parking space is an added bonus.

Our stay at Honeysuckle cottage Blockley.

Honeysuckle Cottage is a pretty little cottage in a quiet lane. It has a comfortable sitting room and a well kitted out kitchen. The bedrooms are welcoming and the bed in the main bedroom is so comfortable. The cottage is well positioned in the attractive village of Blockley and there is easy access to the walking trails, Would definitely book to stay again ( love the fact you allowed my two French bulldogs to stay) The only feedback: Remove the broken toilet roll holder from the wall in the bathroom and sort out the front door as it’s very warped at the bottom so lets the cold in even with curtain closed.

Cleanliness could be in better conditions because there were spider webs everywhere.

Above all, Honeysuckle Cottage was a very cozy, warm and confortable place to stay in. The location was perfect too.

Cosy cottage in delightful location

Cosy well appointed cottage with nice little area to sit outside in delightfully attractive village of Blockley. Close to beautiful towns of Chipping Camden, Broadway, Stow-on-the Wold. Cottage is within close walking distance of lovely Blockley cafe, the useful village shop and village pubs. Customer service was excellent.

Sweet little gem in the Cotswolds

What a lovely sweet little cottage, we had a great time staying here for a few nights in July. So quiet and comfortable. We loved the decor and even managed to cook on the Aga (with a bit of help from Google). It had everything we needed and more for a wonderful stay. Everything was so nicely done and the beds were very comfortable. Great to have a parking space too. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again and hope to be coming back very soon.

A beautiful cottage

We spent 4 nights here in July. The cottage was spotless, and filled with beautiful studio pottery, furnishings and art work. The village is idyllic, as are all the surrounding villages. Blockley is a great base when exploring other villages and sites - we packed loads in! Only one pub was open whilst we were staying there which was a shame. 4 Days at Honeysuckle Cottage

Loved our stay at Honeysuckle Cottage. Perfect for walking our 2 dogs and plenty to see in the surrounding villages. The cottage was clean, comfortable and perfect in every way. Whilst hubby loved the bed, I couldn’t get comfortable. The stunning courtyard was perfect for our morning coffee and reading. Blockley has an amazing shop and cafe/restaurant, 2 fabulous pubs for food and refreshments. There are so fantastic walks around the village, the only thing I would recommend is a map of those walks, to take in what you have on the doorstep. We were kindly given one from the lady over the road, which was a great help. I am staying in the Cotswolds again in July (4 days) in another property which caters for 6 and has a hot tub this also cost around the same price as Honeysuckle. Whilst this is only for 4 days, it does make Honeysuckle look quite pricey for 2 extra days stay. Honeysuckle Cottage is prefect for exploring the Cotswolds and has all your needs on your doorstep. We loved it! Thank you!

Beautiful Country Cottage

We loved Honeysuckle Cottage, located in the beautiful village of Blockley. The cottage is very comfortable and cosy, fully equipped with everything we needed. Beds are so comfy....it was hard to get up in the morning! First time cooking on an Aga, but easy to follow instructions made it easy to use. Lovely courtyard garden, which is lovely to sit out in (in the warm weather). Books, games and DVDs supplied to keep us entertained and the welcome supplies of bread, butter, milk and orange juice were much appreciated. Will definitely come back again.
