Nice and quiet place

Nice chalet in the mountains, very quiet and with very well equipped kitchen; all bathrooms with windows, area offers a lot of possibilities with rafting, swimming, hiking, paragliding etc.

Family holiday

Beautiful situation and the chalet was well equipped. The weather was very hot so the outside decked area on two sides was great and depending on the time of the day we were able to have our meals in the sun or the shaded area. The area has many opportunities for activities.

Amazing place, what a location!

Many thanks to Claire, she has been absolutely amazing, accommodating all the changes we made to our booking with such patience and efficiency. The place itself is truly stunning, perfect for families looking for a relaxing getaway. The outdoor balcony area offers breathtaking views and the BBQ made for some wonderful evenings.The facilities were excellent, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There was ample space in the garage for storing ski gear, which was incredibly convenient. The attention to detail throughout the property made our experience even better. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place, highly recommended!

We spent a couple of glorious weeks in August in the chalet. It was clean to an extremely high standard and extremely well equipped even with adaptors and extension wires. The chalet has a very big terrace with a beautiful view and we enjoyed sitting there from early morning to late at night. I sat for ages thinking if there was anything wrong but the only thing I could think of was that the cows in the opposite field didn't have bells on! I would have enjoyed their tinkling ... in all we had a dream holiday. We highly recommend

Magnifique chalet!

We stayed in Claire and Ben's accommodation with eight people and can really recommend it! The small wooden house is incredibly cosy and from the large terrace you have a great view of the mountains. It's especially worth watching sunrises or stargazing here.The fireplace in the living room invites you to linger, the kitchen has everything you need (pots, pans, bowls, crockery, cutlery, kettle...) and the beds in the four bedrooms (each with two single beds) are super comfortable.The hut is located 900 metres above the valley and is easily accessible by car. The road is cleared in winter, but you shouldn't drive too fast. There is a large Carrefour for shopping 10 minutes away in Samoens. The ski slopes are also easily accessible by car and you can also go hiking from the house.Communication with Claire via WhatsApp was absolutely smooth and very quick; Claire was always on hand to help with any questions or problems.We would love to come back :-)

Lovely chalet near Morillon

Our stay at Chalet Cochon Noir worked perfectly. From the point of booking right through to post-trip feedback the communication with the owner was outstanding, helpful and very welcoming. The chalet itself is situated above the valley along a winding road that leads to fantastic views. It might be more challenging to get to and from in heavy snow conditions. There were 7 adults in our party and the accommodation was spacious, comfortable and well-designed for the kind of living that accompanies a ski trip. It is very well-appointed with plenty of everything you need to enjoy a stay there. Lighting the wood burning stove each evening created a wonderful ambience in the living space and ensured that we are always warm and cosy. Being winter time we did not have the opportunity to enjoy the spacious deck area outside but it is easy to see how that would be a real asset at other times of the year. All in all a great place to stay for exploring the area. Chalet Cochon Noir will not disappoint!

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans ce très mignon châlet où nous étions 4 adultes et 2 enfants de 3 ans et demi et 7 ans. Il est très bien équipé, notamment pour les enfants. Il manque peut-être un peu de lumière dans les chambres mais c'est un détail. Le fait d'avoir 1 salle de bain et 2 salles d'eau est un vrai plus. Le poêle à bois est très agréable, et la vue de la terrasse sublime!La station de Morillon est facilement accessible en voiture avec un parking en contre-bas. Même s'il n'y avait pas de neige à ce niveau, en prenant la télécabine, nous arrivions à la station Morillon 1100 et on trouvait la neige!Claire a été réactive et très agréable par mail.Nous recommandons cette location!

Zeer geschikte ruime vakantiewoning

Mooie woning met voldoende ruimte voor jong en oud. Ruime keuken. Keuken kastjes waren niet al te netjes ingericht. Verder voldoende faciliteiten, zoals oven, magnetron, koffiezetapparaat enz.Erg goed contact met de eigenaresse. Ze is zeer behulpzaam!Mooie omgeving waar je in twee weken niet uitgekeken bent!

Sejour à morillon

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette location. Taille idéale pour deux couples avec 4 enfants. Très bien équipé (ML, LV, four, micro-onde, grande table, salon agréable avec TV) Pour le ski deux possibilités avec véhicule (télécabine à morillon 8mn ou direct à la station 15mn) je recommande cette location.

Rust en ruimte

Een heel fijn huis in een prachtige en rustige omgeving. Goede basis voor het maken van uitstapjes en het ondernemen van activiteiten. Het huis is heel compleet. Zo staan er kruiden en is er koffie, thee en suiker aanwezig. En in alle badkamers staat een zeeppompje. Super is ook de grote veranda waar we vaak met z'n allen gegeten hebben.

Een zeer aangename ruime en goed uitgeruste woning, echter met bomen tot tegen het terras die het uitzicht in de vallei blokkeren maar tevens ook schaduw geven in de zomer. De middelste lade van de afwasmachine dient wegens corrosie dringend te worden vervangen, er ontbreken tevens 2 stoelen op het terras aan de tafel Er dient tevens iets te worden ondernomen tegen de dierlijke nachtelijke bezoekers (marter of ??) die elke nacht luidruchtig waarneembaar zijn in de totale woning. Claire is tevens vlot bereikbaar en antwoord zeer snel.

Ruhiges Chalet in den Bergen

Das freistehenden, gut ausgestattete Chalet stand uns allein zur Verfügung. Durch das gute Wetter war die Anfahrt mit dem Auto unproblematisch. Auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und der Skilift waren mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war sehr angenehm. Sie hat uns mit allen Informationen umfassend versorgt. Der große Wohn- und Essbereich mit dem Holzofen war sehr gemütlich. Insgesamt war alles gepflegt. Das Chalet befindet sich nicht in Morillon sondern in La Rivière Envers - 5 km von Morillon entfernt in den Bergen.

Magnifique chalet

Un chalet magnifique et chaleureux dans un cadre calme et enneigé avec une terrasse en bois offrant une vue incroyable sur la vallée. Un interieur fonctionnel avec une cuisine ouverte sur la salle à manger ; un salon baigné de lumière par 2 grandes baies vitrées et une belle hauteur de plafond ; et un espace nuit offrant de belles chambres. Le chalet n'est qu'a quelques minutes en voiture de la station de Morillon. Nous y avons passé une agréable semaine . Une adresse a retenir et peut être y revenir en été pour gouter aux soirées sur la terrasse.

Tres bien situé

À proximité de Samoens et Morillon le chalet est situé non loin de nombreuses activités pour petits et grands. À visiter absolument: le cirque du fer à cheval! Les propriétaires ne sont pas sur place mais réactifs aux messages et très sympathiques. Le chalet est grand et bien équipé.
