Luxury south facing apartment with stunning views of the Mediterranean and close to beaches, golf courses, racecourse and the mountains. This first floor apartment is set in a small private development with two outdoor swimming pools. The large terrace overlooks well-kept gardens and the Mediterranean. The village of La Cala is five minutes away. Fuengirola is 5 minutes in the opposite direction with plenty of shops, an aquapark, restaurants, bars and clubs for socialising. Other cities within driving distance are Marbella, Malaga, Granada and Gibralter. Skiing in Sierra Nevada just a 3 hours drive away. There are superb golf courses at Mijas and La Cala. Picturesque villages such as Mijas and the town of Ronda (Roman) are nearby. Restaurants and supermarket are 5 minutes walk. Activities nearby include sailing, swimming, all sea based activities, Hippodrome (horseracing), extensive walking. For more information please contact us.

Marbella Shopping: Marbella, the most upmarket city on the costa is within 30 minutes drive. There is excellent shopping and the boats in the harbour are awesome. This is the playground of the worlds richest. A new motorway links areas all along the coast

Excellent stay !

We spent a very pleasant stay. The apartment corresponded perfectly to the description, it is clean and pleasant. The residence is quiet and well maintained. I highly recommend this location, very good contact with the owner. Just one thing : you will need a car to visit. Surely we will return!

Thank you Peggy for that review. We ourselves often discuss the need for a car. I always rent a car myself, and the rates are probably the lowest in Europe. Nevertheless, there is an excellent bus system within a few minutes walk and I do frequently use it if I decide to go out for the evening either to La Cala or further afield. I think the cost is one Euro.

The Costa del Sol must be the best location in Europe for holidaying, and we are fortunate in being right beside the sea with wonderful views over the Mediterranean, and with quick access to the local beaches. I love eating outdoors at one of the local restaurants and then walking back to the apartment (5 minutes)--- something which I can never do during the winter here in Ireland. Thank you again, John

True Bliss

One week spent in this corner of heaven felt like a month !! Malaga has everything you could need and leaves you wanting for nothing. The pool beside the apartment was really nice and we spent many hours unwinding and relaxing by the pool soaking up the Malaga sun. This I think will be our fondest memory of our Malaga trip. Malaga truely is a gem and we will both treasure our memories of it. Looking forward for us to stay in your apartment again. Thanks Dennis

Very good apartment at a beautiful complex

We had a splendid holiday in the apartment. The listing description was accurate regarding the location, layout and facilities. What you see is what you get!!! Beautiful pools and garden. You get what John promissed and the customer service was perfect (thank you Syd). We have already recommend this apartment to our friends and relatives. Supermarket is nearby and also several restaurants. (a little bit traffic noise from the coast A7) This wasn't our last visit and maybe we want to buy a apartment at the estate.

Outstanding views from the apartment, very clean and large appartment in beautiful landscaped grns

Well equipped with everything you may need (except instructions for the complicated cooker hob!!) And no barbecue? Although listed in the inventory on the advert. It is well located for a stoll down to the beach, or a brisk walk to la cala. Well laid out appartment with 2 x large bedrooms (both en-suite ) and his/hers basins! Air con in every room, large living room with dining area and stunning sea and pool views. It is very secure with Electric gates and off street parking the whole complex is totally fenced off ?,it is very, very quite and peaceful, on the occasional day (depending upon wind direction ) you can hear traffic noise from the distant main road (which you can't see! ) but other than that ! Perfect! ! I would highly recommend this appartment, and should we visit this area again, then this appartment would be top of my wish list.

Thank you for that. The area is quiet and peaceful. Not suitable for very active youngsters seeking thrills and noise, but very suitable for couples and families. Regarding the traffic noise which can be detected with open doors on very quiet evenings. A friend and myself had a bet about its source, and after walking down through the development to the road/shore we concluded that it is mostly due to the sea. However it is a long way from being intrusive. I abandoned the barbecue some time ago in favour of an electric griddle (due to cleaning problems ) and thought I had corrected the advert. I'll check that out. Thanks again, John

Nous avons passé 19 jours exceptionnels au sein de ce très bel appartement. La résidence est magnifique et d'un calme absolu. Parfaitement aménagé avec 2 chambres, 1 salle de bain, 1 salle de douche, un salon/salle à manger de taille convenable. L'appartement est parfait pour 4 personnes et dispose d'une vue à couper le souffle sur la mer. Situé à égale distance entre Malaga et Marbella, l'appartement est proche de tous commerces et festivités en voiture. Un grand merci à Amanda pour sa disponibilité.

Boven verwachting goed!

Het appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien. Alles is aanwezig, van handdoeken tot speelgoed tot föhn en volledige ingerichte keuken. Op het complex twee super leuke zwembaden, een restaurantje en er wordt van alles georganiseerd zonder dat het massaal of druk is. Afgesloten terrein met veilige parkeerplaatsen. Super vakantie gehad. De host is ook te alle tijden bereikbaar per app en probeert het je naar zin te maken. Top!

A sido un acierto por mi parte,el apartamento está en una zona tranquila,(este año más en Agosto debido a la pandemia)pero bien ubicado,cerca de Fuengirola y otros pueblos de la costa,en el complejo de apartamentos,mantienen bien cuidada las instalaciones,bonitas vistas al mar y a la preciosa piscina,el apartamento quizás necesitaría la actualizacion de algunos de sus elementos,pero aún así es un apartamento precioso y cumple de sobras con su cometido,qe no es otro que hacer la estancia agradable a los huéspedes,por mi parte un 10,al apartamento,al propietario John,y como nó,a Amanda,que nos recibió y qe se preocupó y ocupó en todo momento de cualquier incidencia acaecida,lo recomiendo 100%

Hi Francisco, Thank you for your review. The development does have a lot of space and two large pools (the second one to be completed shortly) which is a plus for social distancing. It is a beautiful location with great sea views and access to transport.. Twenty minutes drive to Malaga Airport is also an attraction.. Thank you again, John Hola francisco Gracias por tu reseña. Lovely holiday apartment

This apartment, overlooking lawns and the pool is lovely and quite spacious. The balcony gets sun most of the day. The apartment was equipped with everything you need for a holiday with plenty of good quality towels, a super-duper hairdryer and all the tv channels you could want for the amount of viewing you do on a holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would definitely like to return to this apartment sometime in the future. Thanks John for your communications , it’s a lovely, comfortable holiday apartment.

Thank you so much for your review.. There is great space in the grounds, and a great due south view from the terrace. This makes it great for sun bathing and it is so peaceful in the evenings to sit on the terrace and look out over the mediterranean.

The apt is spacious and well equipped. The patio is a great size with stunning views. The pool and gardens are spotless and never busy, there are four sun beds by the pool for the apt so you can go to the pool at anytime and not be met with sun beds reserved with towels. Complex is ideally situated for local buses to Fuengirola and Marbella. Would definitely recommend. Will be returning soon.

A French Bistro has opened about 5 minutes walk away, and another small grocery store also 5 minutes away. We have about 200 TV channels ---- though who has time for TV in such lovely surroundings. Lovely apartment in a stunning position

We needed more information regarding the rules of the urbanisation where the apartment was situated. Once we got things sorted out we had a great holiday although the weather was very changeable for May. The apartment is in a prime position with a wonderful outlook and near to many facilities, shops, beaches. The pools were great once they opened.

Thank you for your review. We have two large pools, one of which is open for about 10 months of the year. The large pool beside the poolbar is open from the middle of May. I also take your point about the rules of the Urbanisation. These are now settled and a notice is in place in the Apartment. These rules refer in the main to rules about behaviour in the pool areas such as no pets allowed, no rough play children to be accompanied by an adult breakable glass not allowed in the pool areas Loud noises (eg recorded music) are not allowed in the outdoor areas and a few other rules in a similar vein. which are entirely aimed at ensuring a relaxing and pleasant stay for all. These apartments are particularly suitable for families, small groups and couples that are seeking a relaxing holiday in the sun.

Peaceful and relaxing - wonderful holiday!

We had a wonderful time here, the children adored the pool. Pool bar was great for snacks and ice-creams, people are very friendly there too. Quite a few English people own these apartments so easy to ask about places to go etc. Local taxi to La Cala approx 9 euros and approx 12 to Fuengirola. Mercadona in La Cala with plenty of everything. Lovely restaurants in La Cala with good variety of food choices. The apartment was lovely, very clean and comfortable with plenty of equipment and utensils etc. The balcony was large and we could sit on there and watch our elder daughter in the pool. The pool was never busy and the grounds are stunning, and very well maintained. We will definitely return there!

Thank you for that. The addition of the poolbar about 4 years ago has been very positive, and yes, the nationality of the owners is very varied. One of my neighbours is Belgian, another Swedish, and there are British and Irish also; indeed I think every European country is represented. Great apartment

Had a great holiday, lovely clean apartment (thanks to Amanda who met us at apt to handover keys,really friendly), we especially enjoyed the large balcony equipped with table, chairs and loungers, Sun on balcony from lunchtime till sunset, great weather in April. Situated in a peaceful location between Fuengerola and La Cala which we walked to both (took about 30 mins) Easy to book with owner who kept us informed by txt, would defo go again. Thanks

The gardens are immaculate and the whole complex is spotless!

We had a lovely relaxing holiday in this apartment. We especially enjoyed the view from the balcony, the swimming pools and the fact that it was quiet and relaxing. There’s a washing machine which came in very handy and there's wifi and satellite TV.. Our only disappointment was that there was no BBQ even tho’ it says on the description that there is one. It’s a great location to use as a base to explore the surrounding area. We decided not to hire a car and instead used the bus or taxi to get around. The most reliable bus stop to use is the one just off the motorway – a short downhill walk from the complex, to go to Marbella and Cala de Mijas, or cross over the motorway on the footpath and there’s a bus to Fuengirola. Both run every 30 minutes. Don’t bother waiting for the bus that supposedly stops outside the complex - apparently it comes twice a day but we never saw it in the two weeks we stayed there. On the whole it was a good holiday and the whole family enjoyed it. Thanks :-)

An excellent value stay

We had a wonderful stay in a great apartment with amazing views. You can walk to some good restaurants. Although we had hired a car we found the bus service very convenient, particularly when we wanted to go out for dinner in the evenings. A few instructions would have been useful in the flat. We had an enjoyable time and would totally recommend staying there.

Thank you for that.The local bus service is very good for visiting La Cala (2.5km) Fuengirola (5km) or Marbella (18km). The local cafes are also great with a mixture of Spanish, Italian, Chinese, English, Indian and Mexican restaurants. The views over the very extensive gardens were one of the main attractions for me in buying this apartment initially and these have been enhanced over time. I look forward to many more years visiting Balcones, John

excellent large clean apparentment in spain

Lovely large clean apparentment. We stayed here for a week and would definitely go back. Buses to marbs and fuengirola every half hour. Bus stop is only 5 mins walk. Nice bars and shops locally. Very clean gated development. The pool is large and there's a snack bar with a very helpful man. Had a very chilled holiday. Thanks.

Very impressed with stay - would recommend.

We were there for a week and had no issues at all. The apartment has a view of the sea in the distance and the balcony gets the sun from mid morning until evening time. Apartment has all the usual amenities incl TV and decent WIFI. You are 5 minutes from La Cala by car & although its the smallest of the nearby towns its the nicest / most quaint. There are buses every 30mins to La Cala and the bus stop is a 5 minute walk away. There's also a selection of nearby restaurants 5 minutes away if looking for something handier.
