Nice villa very close to the Arrifana beach

Very easy and timely communication at all stages. Comfortable, modern and spacious villa. Nice swimming pool and barbecue. Fast internet. Very close to the Arrifana beach.

Lost my belongings, then denied having them despite confirming it

This review has nothing to do with this specific house, which I have not stayed in myself. I am leaving it here because Rental Valley manages this property too, and I believe future guests should be aware of how the company behaved after a problem arose during my stay in another one of their properties. I stayed at "Casa Maresia" in Aljezur from 9 to 16 August 2026. On the day of check-out, I realised I had left 5 items of clothing in the room I slept in: 4 pairs of swim trunks and one pair of training shorts. I contacted a Rental Valley employee responsible for the house that same day, by WhatsApp, to report this and ask for the items to be sent on to me. Over the following weeks, that same employee confirmed, both in writing and by phone, that the items had been found and taken to the Rental Valley office. I was told someone would contact me to arrange the return. Nobody did, despite several follow-up messages from me over almost 4 weeks. When Rental Valley finally responded, they first claimed the only item at the office was a swim short that was not mine. After I clarified exactly what had been left (and reminded them of their own employee's confirmation that everything had been collected), they changed their story again, saying the items were "not in their possession" and suggesting they may have been mistakenly taken by another guest. Rental Valley then offered a 30 EUR goodwill compensation, which does not come close to covering the value of the lost items (a minimum of 195 EUR, based on the original purchase cost). When I asked them to reconsider, they refused, calling 30 EUR their "final" offer and denying any responsibility for items left behind after check-out — despite having already confirmed, through their own staff, that the items were recovered and in their possession. I want to be clear: this is not a complaint about the house or its condition. It is about how Rental Valley handled a situation that they themselves acknowledged, then walked back

Alzejur - get away with friends

The agency was excellent - the house was oversold. We had real problems with the insufficient sanitary facilities leading to several problems and impacting our stay negatively. Must be said that the agency returned us part of the rental which was kind but of course did not compensate for the hassle we had. Owner, wake up I would say

Sauber, modern, ruhig ! Perfekter Portugal Urlaub mit Kindern

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in der Villa! Das Haus ist modern, sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und vor allem absolut sauber! Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an wohl. Der Pool war ein echtes Highlight, besonders für unsere Kinder, die dort stundenlang Spaß hatten. Die Lage ist angenehm ruhig und gleichzeitig sehr praktisch. Viele traumhafte Strände und eine große Auswahl an Restaurants sind ganz in der Nähe, besonders rund um Aljezur. Wir würden die Villa definitiv weiterempfehlen und können uns gut vorstellen, wiederzukommen. Vielen Dank für die tolle Unterkunft!
