Diese Wohnung übertraf alle Erwartungen

es gibt nur einen Ausdruck - wunderbar. Die FeWo war nicht nur blitzblank, sondern auch sehr großzügig im Platzangebot. Der Vermieter super freundlich, Übergabe und Rückgabe ohne Probleme und die Lage traumhaft. Alles das, was wir uns erhofft hatten. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Very nice beach condo

Excellent location close to everything. The beach is wonderful, clean and has fine sand. Giovanni met us at the place even though we were a little early. We also had to check out a day early because of a transport strike and he accommodated us with this as well. All in all a very good experience.

Wonderful

We have just had the most amazing week at Giovanni’s property in Selinunte. The sound of the sea and the proximity of the beach was so fantastic. There was no need to go anywhere else. Giovanni treated us to typical Sicilian cakes on our way to the property which was so kind of him and very delicious! It really was a truly amazing place and a truly relaxing experience. The ruins which you can see from the balcony are spectacular and the food (especially the fish at the Boomerang) also not to be missed. Thank you Giovanni.

If you want a quote beach holiday where you can eat amazing sea food every night this is the place.

The balcony over hangs the beach, the waters about 80cm deep for 20 meters out, perfect for swimming. The balcony is big enough that four people can sit in sun or shade all day long. The apartment has everything you need and was very clean and tidy.

Casa Vacanza

Tipica casa vacanza a Marinella di Selinunte (TP). La casa si presenta pulita e nella disposizione degli spazi razionale. Entrambe le camere da letto presentano un comodo bagno in camera. Un ulteriore bagno è al servizio della zona giorno. Cucina ridotta ai minimi termini per quanto riguarda gli spazi ma ben attrezzata con tutto quello che server per cucinare. Il punto di forza è sicuramente il balcone/terrazzino che affaccia direttamente SUL mare. Da casa scendendo 5 gradini si arriva in spiaggia (libera) che dovrebbe essere tenuta meglio. Mare Ottimo. Caratteristico l'asta del pesce che si tiene a Marinella (300 mt di distanza) dove si può acquistare il pescato del giorno. Unico neo: si sente la mancanza di un barbecue!

traumhaft schöne Lage!

Die Lage direkt am Meer ist unschlagbar. Die Nähe zu den Ausgrabungsstätten ist sehr angenehm, die vielen guten Restaurants in unmittelbarer Umgebung praktisch. Leider befindet sich direkt neben dem Appartementhaus eine Treppe zum Strand, auf der sich am Sa-Abend viele Jugendliche treffen: entsprechend laut war es bis morgens um 4.00 Uhr - man konnte erst danach schlafen. Daher ein Abzug bei der Bewertung.

Lovely veranda and well-cared for apartment.

This is a very well cared for apartment right on the edge of the beach towards the end of the village. The balcony/veranda is excellent for sitting out and watching the waves and admiring the ruins at the end of the archaeological park of Selinunte. It was sunny for most of our stay with a strong cold breeze, but the blinds on the balcony afforded some shelter so we could still sit out even in early March. As we stayed here in early March there were a lot of properties around that had closed for the winter and not yet re-opened for the season. This meant that it was very quiet and quite a secluded spot, but this may not be the case in summer. Giovanni the owner was very helpful, meeting us graciously when we arrived 4 hours later than expected due to flight delays. He appeared the following day with a plate of Sicilian speciality pastries for us to try. The living room is a reasonable size with the kitchen tucked into one corner. This iwas equipped with a kettle & microwave which we used and a hob/oven and pots for cooking (which we didn't). The 2 bedrooms are a decent size and furnished with all the basics. The bathrooms, of which there are 3, are compact and nicely finished, each with a toilet, basin, bidet and a fully tiled, spotlessly clean shower. One is very narrow and could be a bit of a squeeze for anyone with a large build. There were just 2 of us staying in the apartment which gave us loads of space. It is equipped for 6 but this could be quite tricky (unless 2 were smallish children).

Tolle Lage am Strand mit Blick auf die Akropolis

Was die Lage der Wohnung und deren Ausstattung betrifft kann ich auf die anderen Bewertungen verweisen - perfekt! Besonders spektakulär sind die Sonnenuntergänge direkt hinter der Akropolis von Selinunt, die vom Balkon der Wohnung gut zu beobachten sind.. In der Hochsaison gibt es leider 2 (unvermeidliche) Schwachpunkte: Die Wohnung hat keinen eigenen Parkplatz und die Parkplätze direkt an der Promenade sind meistens besetzt, d.h. man muss oft etwas weiter weg parken. Parkplätze kosten 3€/Tag. Die Treppe neben der Wohnung zum Strand runter wird Abends/Nachts von Jugendlichen gerne als Treffpunkt verwendet, d.h. es gibt eine gewisse Lärmbelästigung.

Cette maison a été un vrai rêve pour nous. Nous avons été accueillis par la mère de Giovanni qui pendant tout notre séjour d'une semaine nous a aidé a trouver des restaurants et des sites à visiter. La vue sur la mer est juste splendide et la plage en bas de la maison est super quand après une journée de visite on peut faire un plongeon avant l’apéritif. Le bruit des vagues la nuit est merveilleux. Seul point négatif: des fois le soir il y a du monde sur la plage et sa discute jusqu’à tard. Mais ce n'était jamais excessif. La propreté de la maison était impeccable. Un plus; Giovanni a pu nous donner les coordonnées GPS qui nous a énormément aidé pour trouver de sa maison. Si un jour on devait revenir a Selinunte, ce sera ici qu'on retournera. Un grand merci a Giovanni et a sa famille

Appartamento comodissimo e in posizione fantastica. Dalla terrazza una splendida vista sul mare e uno scorcio sulla zona archeologica. Unico neo nei fine settimana c'è trambusto fino a tarda ora per la presenza di diversi locali con musica molto frequentati. Sicuramente consiliato

Ferienwohnung mit grandiosem Blick !

Die Rundumsicht vom Balkon im 1.Stock ist 5 Sterne wert ! 180° Meerblick, wir haben die auslaufenden Fischerboote beobachtet, das Meer in all seinen Stimmungen, die Kitesurfer, das langsam ( der Mai war noch sehr ruhig ) erwachende Strandleben und den Sonnenuntergang über dem Apollotempel. An Austattung, Sauberkeit und Betreuung gibt es nichts zu kritisieren. Ein guter Standort um die Tempelanlagen zu besuchen und trotzdem Urlaub direkt am Meer zu genießen. Selinunt in Sichtweite, Agrigent, Segest , Trapani und Palermo in 1 1/2 Std Fahrtentfernung. Wunderschön waren die in dieser Jahreszeit üppig blühenden Wiesen im Hinterland und Wellenschwimmen geht bei 18 ° auch schon. Empfehlenswert. Claudia und Peter ( oldies im beginnenden Rentneralter )

Wonderful position on beach

We agree with the other reviewers: it’s a lovely place for a holiday. It’s almost on top of the beach with spacious balcony overlooking the sea. We went early in May when the strong wind was unseasonably cool, but away from the wind the sun was lovely and warm. The shaded balcony would provide welcome relief in the summer. The kitchen is very small but we only used it for tea making and washing up after salad lunches on the balcony. We did no cooking otherwise as there was such a choice of restaurants on the doorstep. The accommodation was very clean, the free wi-fi was invaluable and the charming Giovanni was available to deal with all queries both before and during the holiday. We had no car but could easily walk around the town and to the archaeological site. The Euthalia agency by the harbour can arrange tours.

Absolute sea front with view of temple!

Wonderful place to relax and explore Sicilian history! Sleep comes easy when you can hear the lapping of the waves practically at the doorstep. Very well appointed apartment, with roomy spaces, beautifully clean and a gorgeous terrace which enjoys sun all day. Tasty and well priced food at the harbour front restaurants. Highly recommend this apartment - it will be a highlight of our stay in Sicily.

Un posto fantastico

Il nostro entusiasmo per Marinella di Selinunte e specialmente per questa casa ci fa tornare in questo luogo fantastico da 30 anni... E' un posto unico, splendido, favoloso. Si sente il respiro del mare vicinissimo anche svegliandosi durante la notte... La casa è pulita, accogliente, arredata bene, e la famiglia proprietaria, i signori Tilotta, fanno sempre di tutto per farci stare a nostro agio. Grazie e alla prossima volta!

Traumhafte Wohnung

Wir haben diese Wohnung schon voriges Jahr durch Zufall entdeckt und konnten sie heuer im September mieten. Die Wohnung ist perfekt für einen Strandaufenthalt und hat auch eine sehr gute Lage um Ausflüge nach Trapani und Umgebung zu machen. Die Bilder im Internet ensprechen der Wohnung, die Terrasse ist ein Traum - perfekt für Frühstück und Mittagessen. Das Wellenrauschen begleitet einen den Urlaub hindurch - Grazia Ing. Bellissima vacanza!

Abbiamo trascorso due splendide settimane di vacanza nell’appartamento che corrisponde esattamente alla descrizione ed è completamente attrezzato, confortevole e molto pulito. La terrazza pieds dans l’eau è il pezzo forte della casa, in cui abbiamo passato piacevoli serate coccolati dal rumore del mare. L’appartamento è stata un’ottima base per visitare questo angolo meraviglioso di Sicilia. Marinella è un piccolo borgo che porta i segni delle contraddizioni di quest’isola magnifica, mai templi greci di Selinunte, che fanno da sfondo alla spiaggia sotto casa, e la riserva del Belice a 2 passi, sono magnifici da togliere il fiato. Consigliato senza riserve!

Vilket läge!

En väl tilltagen lägenhet med 3 (!!) badrum direkt på stranden. Lägenheten var ren och fräsch och vi saknade inget av vikt. Giovanni var ytterst hjälpsam från det vi hittade lägenheten på Homeaway tills vi lämnade Selinunte. Även hans trevliga föräldrar hjälpte till med råd och dåd. Ett toppenläge för oss och våra barn. Vi blev positivt överraskade över utbudet av restauranger som fler serverade fantastiska fisk- och skaldjursrätter. Vi kommer definitivt komma tillbaka. Tack!!

l'appartamento che cercavamo

La casa messa a disposizione dal signor Tillotta, pulita e in ottimo stato, ha corrisposto adeguatamente alla descrizione e alle nostre attese. L'immobile è costruito direttamente sulla spiaggia di Marinella e questo permette di trascorrere una vacanza di tutto riposo, anche se la bellezza di quanto la circonda spinge a visitare i tesori di questa area: Mazzara con il suo Satiro danzante, l'immenso parco archeologico di Selinunte, Castelvetrano; da visitare assolutamente il Cretto di Burri sulle rovine di Gibellina. Non perdetevi l'asta del pesce che giunge al porto di Marinella ogni mattina alle 8,30 e che permette di sfruttare adeguatamente il barbeque messo a disposizione degli ospiti. Marinella ha pochi negozi, ma, soprattutto in quelli più interni, trovate pane, dolci, carni e vegetali di ottima qualità e la presenza di presidi slow food. Da tornarci assolutamente

Vacance entre amis

Magnifique appartement avec une excellente position! La vue est impressionnante et on laisse facilement bercer par le bruit des vagues. Chaque chambre est équipé d'une salle de bain et l'appartement est très propre. La situation géographique permet de pouvoir visiter un bonne partie de l'Ile tout en étant au calme dans un chouette quartier. Ce dernier contient pas mal de restaurant. Pierrot, le restaurant en face est super bon et est vraiment pas cher. Sous les conseils du propriétaire qui nous a également conseillé le Boomerang... Du poisson "en veux-tu en voilà". Le propriétaire est très sympathique et ouvert. Il nous a clairement mis à l'aise et notre séjour s'est déroulé comme sur un petit nuage. Un grand merci Giovanni.

Ein perfekter Ort

Wir (Ehepaar 50+) waren drei Wochen in Sizilien und wir hatten die perfekte Wohnung! Direkt am Strand, gut ausgestattet: Traum-Terrasse mit Blick auf das Meer - in einem Ort, der auch außerhalb der Ferienzeit "lebt". Wir haben bei Tagesausflügen viel ansehen können. Die antiken Ausgrabungsstätten , Palermo,,Trapani uvm ....alles gut zu erreichen. Es war inbegr. auch mmer wieder schön zurückzukommen und ins Meer zu springen und am Abend das Essen auf der Terrasse zu genießen oder in das gute Restaurant auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite zu gehen. Wir haben viele Strandtage auf der Terrasse verbracht in ganz bequemen "Lesestühlen". WLan funktioniert ganz gut, aber nur in der Wohnung - nicht auf der Terasse. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und wir haben uns über die sizilianischen Spezialitäten sehr gefreut. Die Dolce sind echt lecker, aber das hiesige Olivenöl ist hervorragend ! Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in Marinella!
