Peaceful & spacious holiday home located in an upmarket/desirable residential road in Southbourne, near Christchurch in Dorset.

This open-plan house (ideal for families) benefits from 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and bi-fold doors which connect the garden and open-plan kitchen/diner to create an alfresco indoor/outdoor living area.

Located a short walk from local shops and stunning riverside walks. Near sandy beaches, Hengistbury Head Nature Reserve walks, giving panoramic sea and harbour views.

Great stay

The house was very well equipped and the space was perfect for two families. The location was great too and we did not use the car at all which is always a plus for us.Thanks to Mark and Richard

Great trip, Great accommodation

Really good. Indoors of property clean and tidy with great layout. Out door area lovely and used to enjoy great weather we had. Great location with lots of local convenience. Also reasonable price.

Lovely property!

Mark was super helpful, even before we had confirmed the booking. The house was lovely and perfect for families. Great location close to the high street and only a short walk from the beach.

Lovely family break

Great communication from the very beginning from the property owner. Accommodation had everything we needed for a short break before Christmas. Excellent location too, within walking distance of a number of shops, bars and restaurants.

Family celebration

Spacious and comfortable house with lovely large kitchen area and bifold doors opening onto garden. Perfect location to beautiful beaches, riverside walks and the New Forest.

Easter break

The house was ideal for our family break. It was an easy distance from the beach and local shops. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room downstairs. We were lucky to get some sunshine and made use of the garden furniture. Would definitely stay again.

Superb Stay

Spacious property, well equipped, super comfy beds and great location for accessing many of the great beaches on the Dorset coastline. Brilliant for walking and running as only minutes from the Stour Way. Local shops and really lovely independent bakery less than 5 minutes walk away. Would definitely re-book without hesitation.

Great house in a great location!

We had a lovely stay in August. The host was very communicative and the welcome pack received prior to arrival was very helpful. The house had plenty of space for the four of us and we loved the big bifold doors which opened onto the garden. The house was very secure and in a nice area very close to Tuckton high street and the river. We would definitely stay again!

Family holiday

Perfect house for our needs. 3 generations and a dog. Only downside need to use cars daily. Too far to walk to beaches. We had perfect weather and a happy week.

In terms of our location and proximity to the beach, we do clearly show our location map in the Vrbo listing, and also display the time to walk to the beach (19 mins). I appreciate that’s not ideal for everyone. Cycling is 5-6 mins. For anyone driving, there is also free parking along the beach coastal road. Fantastic location and spacious house

From the start Mark has been super, really helpful, extremely quick with responses and made the whole booking process ever so easy. House was exactly as described, well equipped and a great location for us as we love long walks along the beach with the dog. - 15 min walk to the beach and 20 to Christchurch. We left the car on the driveway all through the stay!

Great Family Property

We were here for a family event. The house is perfect for 3 families coming together. Spacious with a kitchen area made for social gatherings. The property is very well equipped with everything you need. Lovely welcome pack to get you started. Beautifully clean, comfortable beds. Home from home. Well appointed for Christchurch and Bournmouth.

Ever since we opened our doors in 2021, we had one goal in mind: helping to enable our guests to have an amazing holiday within stylish and comfortable accommodation (ideal for couples or families alike) to enjoy the beautiful Dorset coastline! We love trying to create the “perfect home from home” for our guests!

Enjoy the sandy beaches, delightful river walks, go paddle boarding or plan exciting day trips to the New Forrest -ideally located for whatever you want to do! My very favourite walk is Hengistbury Head, which is only a few minutes from the house and has 360° panoramic views of the sea and Christchurch Harbour and leads onto a sandy beach with views also of the Isle of Wight. There are plenty of shops/cafes/amenities on your doorstep, and we have ample private parking for 2-3 cars making life is easy for our guests.

Our house is a solid traditional detached 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home that has a modern-contemporary feel because it has a very modern open plan kitchen diner (with a Rangemaster oven), which has long bifold doors that can open onto the patio and garden creating a really sociable and alfresco area. It’s ideal for two families, as it can sleep 8 people, or equally great as a couples getaway! We decided to go for a modern coastal decor theme, so we kept things fresh, clean and coastal! We love to try and bring the feeling of the seaside into the home. The property is very quiet and peaceful and the rear garden is very secluded (and fully secure), and becomes a lovely little sun trap in the evening! Perfect for when you get back from the beach or day out in the New Forrest! 😊
