The place is good. Very nice to stay becsuse is almost close to sll attractions.
As a american normally VRBO.COM in USA rental offer body wash and shampoo normally they provide coffee and tea.
My recommendation is if you rent this lovation make sure you brink your on staff or confirm with the owner if they provide those.
Enjoyed the closeness to the Vatican and the great street restaurants and shops nearby. For our last night in Rome it was excellent.
Communication for arrival and departure was repeated multiple times - by VRBO mail and whatsapp, each mostly with the same message. Must be automated. We answered but it kept repeating. Also needed help to figure out the toilet, but after told "flush 3 times", it was all good.
Thanks for the great stay for our last night in Rome.
The apartment was not at the same level as other VRBO apartments where we have stayed. It was clean and orderly with three bedrooms with a small galley kitchen. However there was no common sitting area in the apartment. In the kitchen there was a table with a small TV six foot up on the wall. The table blocked entry to the kitchen and was not a good place to gather. There were three bathrooms, but one was added without a sanitary drain. It had a noisy grinder pump that turned on when water was used. We were told not to use this bathroom if the power was off. Also, there seemed to be an excessive number of warnings signs and house rules posted on several walls, this made the apartment feel more like institutional housing instead of a vacation rental. The location is within walking distance of the Vatican and several near by restaurants. Public transportation from this location to other sights in the city proved to be unreliable or slow, so we used Uber a lot to get around. Communication with the property owner and assistant was at their convenience. They insisted on a set time when you would arrive at and depart from the apartment. A delay on arrival initiated an angry call from the owner’s assistant.

Response from VrboOwner on 2 May 2024
Dear Guest,
Thanks for sharing your feedback.
We would like to clarify some points regarding your stay. First, we want to point out that the photos of the apartment on our site accurately represent the property, and a detailed description has been provided to you, clearly indicating that the living room and kitchen are part of the same space. We are sorry if there has been any misunderstanding in this regard.
Regarding the check-in process, as we are a vacation rental property and not a hotel, appointments are necessary to ensure a smooth arrival experience for all guests. We hope you understand this. In fact, we also have to respond regarding the incident during your check-in. You got lost in Rome and started insulting the staff saying it was our fault and the unclear instructions to get to us. When you were shown the VRBO messages in which it was clear that you had taken the wrong train from the one indicated in the emails, you no longer responded. It is unacceptable for a guest to verbally attack members of our staff. We expect all guests to behave with respect and courtesy, as our staff works diligently to provide excellent service.
Furthermore, this stay also encountered difficulties with your payment method and delay in finalizing the transaction. We try to provide clear instructions and assistance to guests throughout the booking process.
In conclusion, we appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve our services. We hope that despite these difficulties, you were able to enjoy your time in our city.
