Porto De Mós overlooks the 1.5 km white sand beach of Porto De Mós which is amongst one of the most sought after areas in the Algarve. This development boasts exceptional specification set on the hillside above & only minutes walk from the beach.

The bustling center of nearby Lagos is only 3 km drive and offers countless attractive restaurants, high quality shopping and a vibrant night life with clubs and bars to suit all tastes.

Porto De Mos is ideally situated to take advantage of the western Algarve's exceptional golf courses and facilities as well as other outdoor activities including surfing and fishing with sea fishing trips leaving from Lagos marina several times a day.

The beach offers first class facilities and is popular with the local and visiting Portuguese and it is home to two quality restaurants & a further Michelin guide restaurant; all within a few minutes walk of the development.

The apartment is air conditioned and fitted to a very high standard with solid oak finishes, en-suite bathroom, shower room, high spec Danish fully equipped kitchen, ample storage and 2 private balconies. Situated within this small low rise gated community with large swimming pool & child's pool, landscaped walled gardens & private gated parking. Both pool & gardens are fully lit in the evenings allowing for romantic dinners on the balconies in the warm evenings.

Porto de Mos apartment

We returned to the same apartment for the second year and truly enjoyed our stay again due to its amazing location. Enjoying the view while eating on the deck or walking to the beach are a breeze and our favorite things to do!

Great stay

Fantastic week in this very well equipped, spotlessly clean apartment in a great location. Incredibly handy for the beach and local restaurants and a short Uber ride into the historic old town of Lagos. John did a great job welcoming us at the property and was on hand throughout the week if required. I would definitely stay here again!

Great property with the amazing views!

Exceeded all of our expectations! The view was spectacular. The apartment had everything you need. Right near the beach and 10 min Uber drive to everywhere in the town. Would stay here again.

A peaceful stay in a modern, well-equipped apartment located on a hill top about 500 meters from the shore with around 40 steps leading down to the beach area. The spacious balcony overlooking a quiet, sunlit swimming pool and the bay’s sea view was perfect for relaxation. I mostly enjoyed the serenity of the area, and its peaceful surroundings, abundant sunshine, and nearby hiking trails along the stunning cliffs above the bay. The spacious sandy beach is ideal for long leisurely walks, sunbathing or just watching the waves break on the shallow sand bar. The nearby Campi Mar restaurant, located right on the beach has refreshing drinks and great friendly service, adding to the enjoyable time during my vacation. The host maintained clear and timely communication throughout the stay.

Great place and great host.

There was a problem with the original condo due to a previous guest, John upgraded us to a 4 bedroom 5 bathroom villa with a private pool. Perfect views and perfect location. Everything was awesome. Thank you John.

Amazing Getaway

Two couples stayed at John’s unit for five nights and I wish it had been longer. The unit was centrally located to many attractions in the city and within a five minute walk to the beach. I recommend this unit to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing time in Lagos

This property is fabulous. The beds are so comfortable and the apartment is outfitted with everything you would need for a nice stay. It is a close walk to the beach and 2 great restaurants. It was a treat to sit on the balcony and have a view of the ocean. I would definitely recommend and would come back again

Beautiful apartment in great location!

We were traveling with long time friends and wanted a spacious clean apartment near the beach. This one exceeded our expectations! John was easy to work with, and quick to respond to questions. The apartment was roomy, clean and exactly as described on the listing It was well supplied and comfortable. We would love to return one day!

Splendid location and condo for the perfect Algarve holiday

Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo is gorgeous and well-appointed with everything you need for a short or long-term stay other than pool towels (which we brought). The pool is perfect for a quick dip or to keep kids amused for hours. We loved the ocean view from the deck and loved even more that one of the nicest beaches in the Algarve is literally 5 minutes walk! We had intentions of driving to visit other beaches and towns during our stay, but ended up staying put and enjoying the local beach every day other than a kayak trip. We would go for morning swims, then back to pool for lunch, then back to the beach for afternoon body surfing before dinner. The 2 restaurants are excellent, and be sure to make reservations as they are always full in high season. Finish your evening with a walk along the beach for sunset and you will really think you've found paradise here.

Beautiful and great location

Overall enjoyed our stay near Lagos. The place was very clean and has lots of communal space, comfy couch, great balconies with beautiful views. There were just a few little things that could have made the stay a bit better, a dish towel in the kitchen, a simple one pager left for guests with basic instructions/ notes that we usually get in a VRBO. Could list a few things like the Wi-Fi password, instructions on how to get to the pool(it’s through the garage,), how to get to the beach (path to the right after you leave the gates of the property), some restaurant suggestions, the name of the closest grocery store, TV and oven instructions etc. John was very responsive with questions but if they just had it written down somewhere that would be nice. The view really is fantastic , just like the pictures!

Sparkling Clean

This condo unit is very clean and the furnishings and appliances are new. This unit is one of hundreds built in this quiet, safe area which is a short, hilly walk to a wonderful beach and two restaurants. The market is a mile walk and the town of Lagos is 2.5 miles so a car is a necessity. Beach towels are not supplied and I advise bringing extra bath towels and pillows to make your stay more comfortable. The unit is a third floor walk-up with a balcony overlooking the pool area with a partial ocean view. American tourists may be surprised to learn that outdoor pools are not heated and may be cooler than you are accustomed to during cooler months. We had a wonderful time visiting the area with hilly 3.4 mile hike to Ponta da Piedade. Don't miss it!

Quiet, scenic retreat in Porto de Mos

Beautiful, clean and well appointed apartment in a gorgeous complex! Roomy, with everything you need to take advantage of the area. John was super responsive with all the info we needed to get settled in. Beautiful beach is just down the hill, and the main part of town is a few minutes away by car. The pool at the complex is a great way to relax after a day spent sight-seeing. Local mercado and restaurantes were perfect for breakfast foods, wine and cheese and pizzas to go. Lagos is a great town with tons to see and do, and friendly locals. Already planning a return trip with family!

Family holiday in Lagos

A lovely apartment, good short walk to the beach, great pool (not heated though!). Great location to get to interesting places by car. John was quick to respond to questions, however it would have been useful to have some basic info to start off with. There were a few very basic supplies eg toilet roll, hand soap and washing up liquid etc. A bunch of Calgon tablets but not distinguishable dishwasher ones so we couldn’t make use of that. Would recommend bringing beach towels, and a few washing machine and dishwasher tablets if you want to use those things.

Highly recommend!

This is a great apartment - spotlessly clean and has everything you could possibly need during a stay. Lots of space, comfy beds, lovely big balcony overlooking the pool and a sea view. it's a very quiet, residential area. There's a beautiful beach 5 minutes walk away with two really good local restaurants - Campi Mar and Antonios - but you do need to make a reservation in advance (certainly in August). Both also have outdoor beach snack bars for drinks, sandwiches, burgers, ice creams etc. Highly recommend this apartment - but just to note you really need a car to stay here. We didn't hire a car and the nearest shop is a very hilly 20 minute walk away - too far to carry anything heavy - so we spent a lot extra on taxis and ubers to and from Lagos and also the supermarket. With a car, you couldn't find better accommodation in the Porto de Mos area. A big thank you to John who was great to deal with and really helpful. Also, highly recommend South Coast Transfers for airport transfers and local trips/tours.

Beautiful stay in Lagos!

Clean, modern, facilities great! Just a little hard to find the exact space but John was very helpful. The beach was lovely and we can't wait to come back! Indeed my teenager after 1 day said he wished we were could say 2 weeks but by the end he lengthened to a month. Just wonderful location and amenties, thank you John!
