The only thing that was not 5star was the television as it kept losing it's signal the staff tried to fix it but it seems that the external mast had a problem for some reason or another. Did not spoil our holiday as everything else was fantastic.

This lodge felt tucked away and the angle of the deck meant it was fairly private.
This lodge felt tucked away and the angle of the deck meant it was fairly private. It had sun at some point in the morning and then in the evening which was lovely. The trees and shrubs around were full of birds! So much birdsong! The lodge is well equipped with everything you need including a washing machine. Take cleaning stuff/dishwasher tabs as only a few bits are provided so the site can reduce it's environmental impact which was no hardship at all. Towels and beds really clean as were bathrooms. We will definitely be back!

Lovely accommodation - very well equipped and spotlessly clean.
Lovely accommodation - very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds. Lovely to sit out on the decking.4 out of 5 for comfort because the sofa was a bit more practical than comfortable. The 4 out of 5 for fittings is because the flooring, whilst very practical was quite slippery for our bouncy Labrador - if we had know we would have taken non-slip rugs with us from home. We managed to use a couple of bits we had in the car boot so it didn’t detract from a lovely holiday.

Lovely spacious lodge with a really modern look.
Lovely spacious lodge with a really modern look. Had snow and freezing temperatures when we arrived and the Lodge was lovely and warm. Fairly decent parking and amenities with small shop in reception for milk etc. My only slight issue would be lack of information in the lodge itself such as restaurant info like menu or how to use the takeout service etc. Overall loved our stay and will no doubt be back soon.
