A 3 bedroom villa with a private pool and 2 minutes from the Beach

While we appreciate your comments, we would also like to clarify several points from our perspective so that future guests may form their own balanced opinion regarding our lovely villa and the overall experience we aim to provide. First and foremost, due to unforeseen circumstances — which were fully explained during our private communication — we had to relocate your booking to another villa within the same complex, located less than one minute away from the originally reserved villa. This information was provided well in advance of your arrival, and we also offered multiple alternative accommodation options, including the possibility of a full refund and cancellation should none of the alternatives suit your preferences. Following this, you selected Villa Natalia yourself, with all photos and details accurately reflecting the property. Regarding the trees and outdoor area, the Leylandii trees have been part of the villa’s landscaping for many years and have never previously resulted in complaints. While they may cast some shade during parts of the evening, they do not block the entire garden or outdoor area. In fact, many guests appreciate the shaded sections during Cyprus’ warmer months. Concerning the staircase, we respectfully disagree with the statement that the stairs are dangerous or blocked. The gardens are professionally maintained on a regular basis, and had any concerns been raised during your stay, we would gladly have inspected and trimmed the area further if necessary. We are also disappointed to read that the beds were described as the “only good thing” about the villa. We have proudly maintained and managed this property for over 10 years, carrying out yearly maintenance and updates to ensure the villa remains welcoming and comfortable, including kitchen equipment, furniture, bathroom accessories, towels, blinds, and many additional amenities designed to create a pleasant holiday environment. Regarding the humming noise from the water system, this is related to the plumbing systems commonly found in villas built in Cyprus many years ago. We have not previously received complaints about this matter, and the sound itself lasts only briefly after water use. While we understand that sensitivity to noise differs from guest to guest, the description provided unfortunately does not reflect the experience of the vast majority of our visitors over many years. As for the slugs, gecko in the pool, and debris after the rain, these situations are unfortunately related to nature and the local environment. Cyprus is known for geckos, and despite regular pest control and scheduled pool maintenance, it is impossible to fully prevent occasional insects, leaves, or small animals from appearing in outdoor spaces, particularly after heavy winds or rain. Our pool maintenance team services the pools regularly according to a strict timetable, and the pool was cleaned accordingly following the weather conditions and your request. Concerning the patio area, the villa was built in this design many years ago and has safely accommodated numerous families and guests without incident. Regarding neighboring gardeners and leaf blowers, these are independent surrounding properties and unfortunately outside of our control. We would also like to clarify that guest information was indeed provided. Rather than using a printed guest book, we provide all guests with a comprehensive digital villa guide containing check-in procedures, Wi-Fi details, pool and garden schedules, appliance instructions, and all other important villa information. Finally, regarding the barbecue and sun loungers, we sincerely apologize if these did not fully meet expectations. Had the barbecue condition been reported during your stay, we would have gladly arranged a replacement or solution immediately. Regarding the additional sun lounger, although the villa photos accurately reflected the setup provided, we still arranged an additional lounger the very next morning after your request, demonstrating our willingness to assist and ensure your comfort throughout your holiday. We encourage future guests to review all available information, photos, and the many positive experiences shared by previous visitors before forming their own opinion. We are proud to provide villas in excellent locations, with spotless housekeeping, full amenities, and a 24/7 responsive team. We also appreciate your recognition of our welcome package, which includes fruit and Prosecco. As we host guests from many nationalities, we cannot prioritise specific items, though your suggestion regarding milk and bread is noted. Regarding the payment process: as your booking was made through Vrbo, all payments and automated messages are handled by their system, outside of our control. Similarly, the damage deposit is outlined during booking and, as explained, is never charged but temporarily frozen and released five days after departure. The electricity policy is listed in the property’s amenities and was also clarified in our private exchanges. For security, our villas are equipped with alarms and CCTV to protect guests’ belongings. The camera you referred to faces only the patio entrance, not the pool area, and we would gladly have shown you its view if requested. We also apologise for initially providing only three sun loungers, though additional ones were delivered the same day. Finally, we regret the miscommunication regarding electricity and confirm no extra charges were made. We hope this clears up the concerns mentioned and look forward to welcoming you again
