The region
West Anstey is a tiny, peaceful hamlet tucked into rolling hills on the southern edge of Exmoor National Park, deep in the unspoilt Anstey valley of Mid Devon.

Scattered farms and stone cottages sit among fields and hedgerows, with no through traffic, no streetlights, and no noise beyond birdsong and the occasional bleating of sheep. The hamlet's 13th-century Church of St Petrock stands as a quiet reminder of centuries of rural life in this hidden corner of Exmoor.

The property was clean, homely and catered perfectly for us and was more than we expected and a great time was had by all.
