Weirmarsh Big Barn. Gran conversión de granero con gran bañera de hidromasaje y sala de juegos.

La propiedad es un granero de piedra convertido muy espacioso ubicado en los terrenos de una granja de ovejas en funcionamiento. Está en los mismos terrenos que el restaurante Weirmarsh Farm. (Si desea reservar el restaurante, debe hacerlo antes de su estadía; el restaurante tiene su propio sitio web). La propiedad ofrece fácil acceso a las playas, así como a los Parques Nacionales de Exmoor y Dartmoor. El hermoso río Taw se encuentra a 300 metros a pie, cruzando dos campos.
Hay 4 dormitorios en suite arriba y un dormitorio abajo con un baño pero sin ducha. Las habitaciones tienen camas para alojar hasta 16 personas. Hay dos salas de estar, una con TV y una cocina-comedor muy grande que tiene una mesa con capacidad para 16. Se proporcionan una silla alta y una cuna.
Afuera hay un patio y un pequeño jardín cerrado. El espacio exterior está totalmente cerrado y se puede asegurar con una puerta. Una gran mesa de picnic está afuera con un banco. Hay una barbacoa afuera.

What an amazing house .it had just everything you could need for a party of 13 inside and out . So clean but so comfy and lots of space. Great location we will be back .

We had such a lovely stay, the Barn was amazing! It had everything we needed and more, we had a lovely welcome hamper on arrival. The hosts were lovely and very accomadating.

Perfect!

We were a group of 9 adults and 6 children ranging from grandchildren to grandparents and everyone inbetween. The property was amazing, there were so many little extras to help with our stay, from soft teddies on the bed to ice packs to plastic cups - the attention to detail and thoughtful touches were great. The layout of the property was fantastic with a bedroom downstairs and ensuites. The kitchen/ dining area was great for meals. But the thing that really made our visit was the location, being so close to the river and other activities and the owner allowing us to use their equipment was an absolute hit with the kids (and adults)! This along with the games room meant the children were entertained for hours. We were impressed by the cleanliness. Yes its a creaky property with a few visits from spiders (and a bat) but that is to be expected with the property type. Our only comment would be to add some more hooks in the downstairs bedroom to hang things. We had a perfect stay and would love to return. A huge thank you! Highly recommend.

Stayed as a family of 10 and 2 dogs. This is the best house we have stayed in. It has everything you could need in the kitchen and the whole house is spacious and well equipped. The games room in the barn was fab with something for everyone. The hosts are lovely and very friendly. Would definitely recommend x

Ideal space for a chill getaway

Stayed as a group of 13 lads for my brother's stag party (a much more chilled out affair than it sounds) the house was perfect with plenty of space for socialising, cooking and games. Were hoping to make our "Lads Holiday" an annual event and would definitely stay again!

Great property

We stayed for a long weekend just before Christmas. The house is lovely and very clean. The communications with the host were quick and easy and everything was ready upon our arrival. The hot tub was really well maintained and checked everyday by Sarah who also delivered us more logs for the fire when we needed them. The property is highly recommended.

Short group break

Had a lovely stay at the property. Was a of three families with 6 adults and 8 children. Had a perfect selection of bedrooms/beds to suit us all. Great location. Host was extremely helpful, especially when one child wasn't very well. Would definitely recommend.

lovely place for a get together

We really enjoyed our stay at Weirmarsh Barn. The place is plenty big enough and space enough so you are not on top of each other. We had a few issues while there such as hot tub stopped working and we lost internet but a lovely lady called Sarah was really attentive and sorted any issues out really quickly. Lovely place, recommended.

Perfect for a family stay

We met the owner upon arrive and where made to feel very welcome. The beautiful grounds, house and location was perfect. The family rooms were huge and perfect for little ones. The hot tub and games room was well equipped along with the kitchen. We bumped into the owners family down by the river and were lovely and friendly and very helpful. Thank you

Booked for a hen weekend

The host was so tentative and welcoming, and then left us to enjoy the lovely property. There were 13 of us and we all had a lovely time. The dining arrangements in the kitchen were great and allowed us to all sit together to eat. The kitchen was well equipped and the lounge area was comfortable. The games room was the added bonus and it was lovely to sit outside on the seating area with table. The only comment was the lack of mirrors for all the women trying to get ready at once lol. The en-suites off each room was great though. Would highly recommend this property

Fabulous Family Holiday

We stayed at the barn over Christmas and New Year with our family of 14. The barn is a wonderful size and happily accommodated everyone. The online photos and description could do with updating as there have been some changes since. The barn is well equipped and has the majority of things you would need. Some areas of the barn require updating and a little TLC and I have notified the owner accordingly. I would concider staying again but only if my recommendations were taken on board and the adverts updated to show a true reflection.

Christmas at the Big Barn

We were a party of 8 adults 4 children from 3 - 12 yrs and two dogs. We found the property to be spacious, well furnished and a fully equiped kitchen for the chef's amongst us to be happy. The Christmas meal was enjoyed and was easily prepared in the spacious kitchen. The bedrooms were comfy and warm, each with it's own en-suite which meant no quarrels first thing in the morning!! A delightful stay , thank you to Sandra and family.

Very pleased with the property. Suited all ages. Games room was a big hit. Oven kept cutting out but not a great problem. New induction hob requires more suitable pans. Shame there are not more walks direct from the property but easy access by car to sites in North Devon.

Absolutely faultless

Amazing Christmas with family and friends, house was very equipped and made Christmas Dinner a breeze. Walks by the river were lovely despite the rain. Hosts told us to treat the house as a home, really relaxed. Everyone who stayed rated it 10 out of 10. Would definitely recommend .

Lovely family stay.

Really enjoyed our stay at the barn, a lovely, spacious property. The beds were comfy, good room sizes, well equipped kitchen. Lovely walk down to the riverside direct from the property.

Fantastic Find

The Barn was beautiful, the bedrooms were lovely and the downstairs family space was very roomy. The enormous kitchen was well stocked with cookware. We spent every evening in the games room playing darts and cards or relaxing in the hot tub.

Family break

Nice property and plenty of equipment, our only comment would be that the grill didn't seem to eork and there were no instructions for how to use the oven and hob. Other than that it was a lovely place to stay

Pip and John live in Umberleigh in the Taw valley 1 mile from the barn. We have run the barn since it was converted from a mill in 2005. Sarah lives next door and will greet you on arrival and be your contact for any queries throughout your stay.

The barn is a very generous size, having been converted from a large stone milling barn on the family farm. It is very spacious with large bedrooms -
All have en-suite bathrooms.
It is in the picturesque Taw valley with riverside walks.
There is large playroom which houses a hot tub, a table tennis table, a pool table and darts board.

The property is on a sheep farm in the Taw valley, giving access to river walks along the Taw.
Driving to the barn is easy along the A377, or the nearest rail station is 1.5 miles away in Umberleigh.
