This is a great property in a perfect location. We will be recommending to anyone thinking of staying in this area. After a hard days walking it was ideal to come back to either to enjoy the local hospitality (amazing pies at the chippy) or just crash and relax.

Wonderful accomodation in every respect. Excellent attention to detail to make our stay very comfortable. The property provides a good centre to explore the area. Good value for money in comparison with other properties that had ridiculously increassed prices at the end of lockdown. Thank you we hope to return again

The property is very clean, furnished to a high standard and the parking space is an added bonus. Porlock is a lovely place to stay and Overstream provides an ideal place for two people to stay and enjoy this beautiful part of the world.

Porlock village can get quite busy so it's excellent you have your own off street parking behind a locked gate .super close to village shops and pubs but it is super quiet and relaxing ,with beautiful countryside walks from the door .the cottage has everything you need for a relaxing holiday .

This is a recently updated apartment which has been modified to a very high standard. It is perfect as a base for two people to enjoy Porlock and surrounding area. This property also has a private parking space and as someone who has visited Porlock on a few previous occasions I cannot overstate what a benefit this was. Once again the property as a whole contributed to another wonderful holiday in this lovely area.

A beautifully prepared cottage in a lovely central location opposite the village church. Very private and secure as your car is parked on site behind locked gates. We loved waking up to the church bells on Sunday and the fabulous log burner which virtually lit itself! Walk from the door straight up to the high moor or down to the beach. Perfect.

The Annex at Overstream gave us everything we wanted out of a self catering holiday home. It was clean, very well presented and equipped with quality fitments. There was nothing we could think of that was missing. Being newly fitted out, the accommodation was top notch. It was also a change to have a TV that was actually a Smart TV connected to all the catch up services. So often rentals advertise a 'Smart' TV but they are nothing of the sort. Not a deal breaker but nice to have. Porlock is a lovely village, lots of pubs, restaurants, cafes, shops etc to give quite a bustling feel during the day but quite at night. Lots of walks and a great open top bus service. Shame the weather wasn't kinder, we had the first week of September between the hottest, driest summer and a sunnier warmer second week of the month but it did stop us getting out and about.

The annexe is an ideal place for a couple to stay in Porlock. Situated in the centre of the village with all its amenities and with many lovely walks starting at your front door! The property is well appointed and had everything we needed for a week’s stay. The private parking place is a bonus!
