Clean cosy cottage. Open fire a nice feature but central heating worked well too. Comfortable bed, maybe a bedside lamp for both sides good idea. Everything we needed in kitchen except a tea pot! Great location for exploring Exmoor and coastal walks. The Staghunters Inn just down the road serves excellent local beer, great pub grub and friendly staff. Looking forward to coming and staying again.

The cottage is in a great location in the village of Brendon. We did walks to Watersmeet from there
The cottage is in a great location in the village of Brendon. We did walks to Watersmeet from there and also to Cloud Farm/Malsmead in the Doone Valley. There are some great pubs in the area. We ate at the Blue Ball Inn, which was fantastic and also the Stag Hunters Inn, which had excellent salmon on the menu. The cottage is lovely but very tall guests may struggle with the ceiling height - our 6 foot son was just able to fit.
