The Barn (4 Bedrooms)

Redyeates Farm is the perfect place for family holidays or couples that want to get away from it all in a luxurious, peaceful setting with a great variety of things to do either at the farm or on days out. Previously the Devon Wine School, Redyeates Farm has total peace and quiet based around a 17th century farmhouse with no near neighbours and lots of rolling Devon country-side. If you like the sound of nothing (or maybe a woodpecker or two!) and the sight of circling buzzards, with real dark skies at night to properly see the stars, then you cant go far wrong here.

We have superb 5 star accommodation with something for everyone and fine countryside views on your doorstep. If you want to play tennis on our all-weather court, play football with the kids or read the papers while the children roam the acres of gardens, playing on the climbing frame and swings, jumping on our safer spring-free trampoline, playing basketball or simply playing table tennis, we have a lot to do for all.

For those that need it we also have a professional wifi installation which means that the broadband signal is beamed throughout the cottage and also the grounds.

A great week in Devon countryside

Our hosts were very informative and welcoming making the booking, check-in a breeze. The property was fantastic and we had an excellent holiday. The location was quiet and peaceful and there was plenty of space for 10 of us to relax in the barn. The pool table and tennis court were extremely popular as was the kebab night at the local Ring of Bells. Thanks for a great week.

Redyeates is just fantastic! My wife cried on arrival when we were given a tour of the property and grounds. It was just the break we all needed and Morley and Rainee are amazing! We will definitely be coming back! Thank you The Millers and The Warners

Exactly as advertised!

Beautiful barn property, exactly as advertised! Surrounding countryside and gardens stunning! Just the perfect country escape to unwind and relax...yet still within 30mins of Exeter! We were a large family group with 3 young children and the space was perfect for everyone and plenty to keep the kids entertained with! The owners, Gary and Louise did everything they could to make us feel welcome and safe (in these funny COVID times!) and were very helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely like to return to Redyeates in the future..thank you for having us.

Surprise 60th family break

Fantastic place, everything you need for a great week away, we went as a group of 7 adults, 1 child and 2 infants for my wife's 60th birthday. The family got there first as a surprise for when me and my wife turned up. Gary and Louise had provided a welcome basket and some lovely flowers, the barn is really well equipped with everything you need and is well kept and clean. Had a great week, went out a few times and generally relaxed the rest of the time, would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family. The Gaskells Bolton

Great Family Holiday

Thanks to Gary and Louise for making our stay an enjoyable one. Property and grounds were perfect and couldn’t of asked for anything else. There was plenty to do for 2 to 60 year olds.

No better place to enjoy a vacation break in UK

We have taken multiple HomeAway and other house stay vacations both in the UK and USA and this stay at the Barn in Devon is no doubt the best!! From the accommodation, the facilities and the hosts, Gary & Louise! We had a fantastic stay for 9 nights, plenty to do, really spacious and comfortable accommodation with great facilities both inside and outside the house. Prior to arrival and on arrival Gary and Louise were responsive and really helpful on all enquiries. In terms of activities for families, there was no shortage of things to do both inside the house and outside. The large grounds had great activities, from a tennis court, football pitch, croquet, climbing frames, just to name a few. We will definitely be back to stay at this 'resort' style facility!

Stunning Property, amazing holiday.

Had the most amazing 5 nights at Redyates Barn. The property is beautifully decorated throughout with the most amazing views. We were a group of 11 of all different ages and there was so much to do for everyone. From the moment we arrived the owners made us feel so welcome with lovely welcome gifts. Our family paticularly enjoyed the tennis courts, basketball and the pool table. We were lucky to enjoy bbqs on the patio with the outstanding views to cosy movie nights in front of the huge woodburner and drinks and nibbles around the pool table. The barn was spotless and had everything you needed especially in the kitchen. Thankyou so much to Gary and Louise we had an amazing holiday just what our family needed. We can not wait to return.

Beautiful home

Not long been back from this place and want to go back already. Had a wonderful time with the family. Loads to do in the house. Great games, books and dvd's supplied. The best bit for the guys in the group was the pool table inside the property. It was even big enough for snooker. If only I was the winner every time! My wife said that cooking was made easy as they have everything there you need, even if you want to do a fancy dinner. The pub down the road was also brilliant. A great meal had by all. Looking forward to coming again soon. Next time with our extended family as well. Thank you both for being so welcoming.

Fantastic Break

We had an amazing time at The Barn! Superb accommodation, clean, spacious and catered for all our needs. Took my parents with me they thoroughly enjoyed the views. The children wanted to stay at The Barn during the day rather than venturing out. They enjoyed the trampoline, tennis courts and other outdoor activities. Gary, Louise and their son Luke (owners) were most welcoming hosts and one of the nicest families we have ever met. We will most definitely revisit The Barn, it ticked all the boxes and would strongly recommend staying here to anyone thinking of booking this accommodation.

Beautiful cottage in serene surroundings

The Barn is not really a cottage. It is a luxury house with ample accommodation and every facility situated in the middle of beautiful countryside. Up there with the best. We had a great time.
