If historical sites are of interest Hadrian's Wall and Lanercost Priory are both within a short drive. The Lake District is just over an hours drive away as is Newcastle with its cosmopolitan night life and the Metro Centre at Gateshead for all your designer brand shops.

The cottage has oil central heating and comprises: Open plan living area with a wood burning stove, a 40" LCD TV, 3D Blueray/DVD player and Bluetooth enabled sound system. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed to make a delicious meal with cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and washer/dryer.

Down a couple of steps and you will find a double bedroom and a bunk bed room plus a bathroom with a bath, shower over the bath, hand basin and WC.
