Chalet le Tricouni is a beautiful 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom chalet in the sought-after residential area of Plaine des Praz area of Chamonix valley with a traditional outdoor Nordic bath. Being close to the Flégère cable car, which gives you access to the Brévent/Flégère ski area, this chalet is in an ideal location for exploring everything the Chamonix valley has to offer.
At Chalet le Tricouni, you can spend the evening cooking up a storm or relaxing around the open fireplace in the large open plan living-dining area of this Chamonix chalet. As well as the open plan living area, there's an additional snug downstairs, perfect for the kids to play in or to escape for some peace and quiet, and with a sofa bed for 2 people.
The living room benefits from stunning views of the Mont Blanc massif and leads out onto the balcony and down to the private garden. Chalet le Tricouni's garden is perfect for kids to make snowmen in, and also has the traditional Nordic bath where you can soak your troubles away. In summer, there's a BBQ, and an outdoor dining table and chairs where you can enjoy al fresco dining with an unbeatable view. There is also a beautiful pavilion with seating for 8-12 to provide sheltered seating where you can enjoy the garden in all weathers.
There are five bedrooms, four ensuites and one with access to the family bathroom. The master bedroom is a king-sized bed and has an ensuite shower room and access to the garden. The other four bedrooms can all be made up with king-sized beds or with twin beds at your request.
The dining area has seating for up to 12 and the kitchen is modern and very well-equipped for self-catered holidays with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, and Nespresso coffee machine.
There is outdoor parking for 2 cars and a ski room for storing skis and bikes in the summer. There is a washing machine, tumble dryer and wifi.

Our stay was wonderful. The chalet is newly renovated, fully equipped (washer/dryer, fully stocked kitchen) and very clean. The location is fantastic, in a quiet neighbourhood with hiking trails out the back door. We would definitely book with Chamonix All Year again as they were responsive and a pleasure to work with.

A hidden gem of a chalet!
Chalet le Tricouni is comfortable, has a big kitchen, and a huge yard for relaxing in. It's a little removed from Chamonix, over in Le Praz, and so you get the peace and quiet while still being close to town. A bike is recommended for an easy commute as walking can take a while. There is also a really close bus stop. The Chamonix All Year team is excellent to work with and will take care of you during your stay if anything comes up. None of the rooms are a true 'master' room as they all have shared bathrooms to some degree. So the layout is a little odd, but totally works! We'd be delighted to stay here again!

A quiet, comfortable chalet with stunning views
The Chalet le Tricouni is a beautiful, spacious chalet in a quiet setting with a huge yard. There is plenty of common space, the rooms are comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you need to cook. It's clean and modern feeling while still retaining the charms of an alps chalet. The team at Chamonix All Year is responsive and great to work with. The only downside is it's in Le Praz so it takes a while to walk to the main pedestrian street in Chamonix. However, it's a beautiful walk with quick access to the trails to take you to town. We found having bikes made this commute much faster and easy. Getting away from the crowds in town can also be a blessing in the summer and this chalet was perfect for that. Would highly recommend it!
