Too many problems
Property smells of dampness and sewarage, WC flush was faulty, water ran constantly, this was repaired. Sewarage came up from the shower drain, and from the base of the WC in the form of human excrement. Wiring was sub standard and in my opinion dangerous, wire joins were taped with electrical tape, with some in cupboard hanging from wall, they were live connections. Electrical switched and sockets are very old, with sockets 2 different sizes.
No means of heating water apart from pots, a kettle was provided that blew the main external fuse if used with shower heater.
Beds and mattresses had been changed to inferior beds and mattresses, that were dirty and without mattress protectors, whole accommodation smells of dampness and sewerage.
No fire or CO detection, gas supplied by gas bottle, no means of fighting fire, bedrooms had to be entered from main area with kitchen and living room, so if there is a fire, you are trapped as small windows have bars as no warning would be given.
Kitchen utensils are poor, there are vast amounts, but most were junk scattered around different drawers, pots were old, poor quality, and non stick coating was either badly scratched or worn away, equipment looked like it came from the tip.
Useful external area had bbq, but was unusable as there were no grills to cook on.
Standard of decor was very poor with white emulsion painted on walls and over edges of door frames and electrical switches and sockets.
Mosquito nets over some windows had gaps.
