Thornton Manor is a fine grade 11 listed house built in the middle of the 19th Century in the Elizabethan style and surrounded by exquisite park and gardens.

With an emphasis on comfort, & warmth – our cottages are fully equipped for a relaxing and memorable stay. We have fourteen cottages available within the grounds, each one distinctively elegant and laced in history and charm.

Perfect accommodation in a great location .

It made our wedding event extra special . Nice spacious rooms , comfortable beds and a kitchen was an extra bonus .

Perfect staycation for groups and families

Family friendly, safe and plenty of private outdoor space. Facilities were fantastic, staff service was beyond expectations. Location was beautiful and perfect for a short break. Just a few minutes drive to local amenities too.

We booked out all the cottages for our wedding on May 27th and the accommodation was superb. All our guests felt like they had a mini break away whist also attending our wedding. Perfect venue, amazing accommodation, looked after by all from start to finish.

It was a very relaxing stay

The house suited our mixed age family and we enjoyed the hot tub. We were surprised there were no easy chairs though I realise I should have noticed that when booking.
