Hi Tonya, It was honestly disappointing to read your feedback, as it does not reflect the communication standard we normally provide to our guests. I understand that you may have been frustrated when you did not receive an immediate reply to your call. However, we also have our own responsibilities and, occasionally, we may be unable to respond within a few seconds. This does not mean that we are unavailable or unwilling to assist. In your case, the necessary arrival information was provided to you in advance and on time. It was also important to read and follow those instructions rather than waiting until the last moment to discover that you had gone approximately 30 metres beyond our entrance. We had explained several times that we do not constantly monitor messages through all booking platforms. For this reason, we specifically ask guests to use WhatsApp, which allows us to see and respond to messages directly from our phones. We also provided you with three contact numbers. What is difficult for us to understand is that you were able to contact us successfully again just two minutes before entering the property. Had you contacted us one hour earlier, using any of the contact numbers provided, we could very easily have assisted you and avoided the confusion altogether. We are always happy to accept constructive criticism when something is genuinely our responsibility. At the same time, we believe that a fair review should also acknowledge when a misunderstanding results from instructions not being read or followed.
