A cosy first floor apartment Harvest End, part of the west facing Sunset Cottages barn conversions at Manor Farm. Nestling in the heart of the Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, only 9 miles from Castle Howard and 25 minutes from York.Enjoy stunning views across undulating countryside, with fields of sheep, horses, woodland, bird life and truly memorable sunsets.If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway, in a property cared for by the owners family, it’s a perfect place to unwind. Home baked Hikers Delight and fresh flowers await.
Inside is full of character. Beamed ceiling, exposed stonework. and country furnishings add to a timeless feel .Accessed via a staircase, the entrance corridor leads to an open plan fully fitted kitchen, dining, seating area, with far reaching views over the countryside and the sunset of course. A pretty bathroom with toilet, washbasin, and thermostatically controlled shower over a full sized bath. A double bedroom with king sized bed Emma memory foam mattress and a and a skylight for night time star gazing. A second bedroom with single bed. All rooms are heated via our central biomass boiler. WiFi throughout. There is ample parking off road with great access.There is a separate laundry room onsite with washing machines, dryer, and a Reception room with lots of additional local information and maps to borrow. Bikes may be stored under cover.
The adjacent farmhouse garden is unique and a real treasure created with a life time of love our guests are welcome to sit a while or potter as it were their own We will meet you during your stay, and for those guests interested in farming activities we can do accompanied tours by arrangement.
