Excellent Family Getaway
We stayed here as a group of 8, with ages ranging from 1 - 70s. The house was just as pictured online, well-equipped and exceptionally clean. It was an excellent house for a large group, with spacious rooms all with ensuite bathrooms, providing some separation and privacy. The common space that opened completely to the outdoors was a good size with large dining table, couches, pool, loungers, etc. The pool is mostly shaded all day which may be an issue for some but was great for us with kids. The flies at the time of year (January) were significant, but we found it like that all around the island if you have food around you. The house had all amenities you would need, even for babies and kids, including cribs, high chairs, pool toys, and plastic dishes. Denise was there to meet us and walk us through the house upon arrival and was always very responsive when we had any questions. Her husband even came by in the evening when we were having trouble with the TV. The property is a short walk to the beach but does require walking a bit of a hill so if you have young kids or elderly, I recommend renting a golf cart to carry them / your things to the beach. Denise will also assist you with that. We did also rent a car which was useful for getting to the grocery store (5 min drive) and exploring the island.A great benefit to Blue Bay was the private beach with access to the sun loungers at no additional cost.
