On the location was probably 10 to 12 USD ride to the central location. The house was cute. They only gave you one towel per person if you’re from the US and actually use a washcloth. Make sure to bring your own. They do not communicate well through the app before arrival. Email was better. After arrival responding through email stopped and I started communicating through WhatsApp and got very quick responses there. All the bedrooms are upstairs. The stairs are very very steep. There are two AC units in the house both downstairs so there’s a drastic temperature change from the first floor to the second floor. We had to open up windows at night to bring in cool air, but didn’t wanna leave them open afraid of insects. A few of us were bitten by something throughout the night.

Nice, but ...

Clean, easy to get to, available street parking, small market a couple of blocks away, restaurant with great smash burgers a couple of blocks away. All of these things are good. But, listing states air conditioning, doesn't state it is only on the main floor, i.e. not on the floor with the bedrooms. The stairs to the second floor are very steep, more like a ladder. A person having difficulty walking my not be able to get up them. I gave the 'location' three stars because it is kind of out of the way. No close walk to shops & diners.

Nette Wohnung über zwei Etagen mit sehr steiler Treppe im Botschaftsviertel von Lissabon gelegen. Ca. 400 m von Tram- und Busstation entfernt. Küche mit den wesentlichen Utensilien ausgestattet.

Well my first impression was a little frustrating, we got into the building without a problem, but to get in the unit was very stressful and we couldn’t figure out how to open the door. The property manager was very helpful and explained, send a video, etc msend us a bid

Lovely apartment in a lovely area

This was an amazing find. Really lovely apartment in a lovely area. It is very residential so quiet. There are some lovely local restaurants and pastelarias close by as well as a Pingo Doce supermarket. Also a short walk to public transport - the 25 tram up the hill and buses down the hill. I know Lisbon is very hilly but this area seems more hilly than other places so bear this in mind when booking.
