Stone's Throw in Amble, Northumberland, sleeps three guests in two bedrooms.
The living areas in this home consist of a kitchen with an oven, hob, microwave, and fridge/freezer, and a living/dining room with TV. The bedrooms consist of a double and a queen size, serviced by a shower room. Outside there is roadside parking in the town, on a first come, first serve basis. This is a smoke-free property. You'll find a shop and a pub in 0.1 miles, the marina in 0.2 miles, and the beach in 1.8 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Stone's Throw is a well-positioned base for exploring the Northumberland coastline. Note: There are double yellow lines directly outside of the home; ample parking is available in the town, a short walk away.
Amenities: Gas central heating. Oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer. TV, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Roadside parking within the town, on a first come, first serve basis. Sorry, no smoking. One well-behaved pet welcome. Shop and pub 0.1 miles, Amble Marina 0.2 miles, beach 1.8 miles. Note: There is a single yellow line directly outside of the home; ample parking is available nearby
Region: Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian’s Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.
Town: Amble, a bustling small harbour at the River Coquet's mouth, is a great starting point for exploring Northumberland. In addition to sandy beaches, a marina, a harbour, and coastal hikes to the bird sanctuary at Hauxley and the national park at Druridge Bay, Amble, once a centre for boatbuilding, offers all of these amenities. A variety of fish, prawns, crabs, and lobsters are landed by the large fishing boats that are moored around the harbour wall. On the side of the harbour is a fish centre that sells local fish and is available to the public. It is currently mostly a shellfish hatchery to restock levels of lobster and other shellfish. Coquet Island, an RSPB reserve with a sizable population of terns, puffins, and eider ducks, is located one mile south of Amble.
