Absolutely what we needed. Easy access to transport which gets you everywhere anyway. I had to be a bit closer to the Congress Center but even if not I would always book again in that area.The apartment is a gem, very clean, has all amenities except outdoor seating. After a day of walking in sunshine we just wanted to rest inside. Nice restaurants and small shops close by. Would be good for a family, too.

Lapa Guest House

Nicely located (neighborhood walks / eating places, public transport nearby), well equipped (dishwasher, washer, appliances, utensils, towels), ideal set up for family (queen bed and bunk with double on bottom) and good / quick communication with property manager. Door was a bit tricky at times, but we figured it out. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here as our temporary ā€œhomeā€ to see beautiful Lisbon.

Well-appointed flat, nice area

This is a well-decorated and tastefully furnished flat. The area of Lisbon is also elegant and a very good base to explore the city. There is no housekeeping for stays under 7 days - I was there for 6 - and provision was minimal. One (1) bathroom towel was provided for the entire stay - and when I requested a second, I was told that I would be charged 20.

Perfect

Beautiful apartment with plenty of space for three girls to relax, get ready and enjoy the city. Comfortable and clean with everything you could need like a hair dryer, washing machine and plenty of wardrobe space. The location is beautiful and only a short walk to some lovely bars, shops and restaurants. Will reccomend to friend, thank you!

Chic place

The place was exactly as shown and in a great area. The piping is old so using water/ shower or toilet flushing causes moderare loud noise from whole apartment use. The other thing getting the address was not sent at least 24 hours as told, i had to message when i arrived at the airport saying i still did not receive the welcome email and adress. Information Sooner would be nice to know the area and plan best way to area etc.

Wonderful apartment in Lapa

We really enjoyed our stay in this cozy apartment. It's in a lovely neighborhood with lots of nice restaurants and little shops just around the corner. Public transport is also close by, which made getting around super easy. We were only there for three nights, so we didnā€™t use the kitchen much, but it seemed really well-equipped with everything youā€™d need if you wanted to cook. The pipes can be a bit noisy sometimes, but it wasnā€™t a big issue for us. Overall, a great spot, and weā€™d definitely consider staying here again!

False advertisement

Construction directly below the apt woke us each morning to hammering, banging and saws. We only slept there 2 of 5 nights due to lack of sleep. After complaining to GT House there was no adjustment to our biill even after the management said construction was from the 8th to the 14th (our entire payed stay) Not a relaxing or enjoyable experience.

Great Stay in Lapa

This was a great little space to stay. It's a refurbished apt in an older building so that came with the issue of hearing the pipes "groan" anytime they were used by anyone in the building, it didn't stop us from enjoying the space. It was well outfitted, had AC in all rooms, a washer and clothes rack for drying. It was located on the outskirts of Lapa. There was a little store and coffee shop right around the corner. If you're looking for a space a little bit outside the hustle and bustle of city center this is a good spot.

Cute apartment

The apartment is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood and it is as described in the listing. Getting access into the apartment was a bit tricky the first few times but we eventually got the hang of it. We found the apartment to be comfortable and cozy however a few downsides were noticed. The pipes in the apartment are loud when water is being used and there was a smell coming from the AC unit in the bedroom. Coming from North America, we are not familiar with European appliances and had trouble using the washing machine and dishwasher. Some instructions would be useful! I also had to empty dishes from the top shelf of the dishwasher from the previous guest. Some issues were brought up with the property manager and they were quick to respond and very helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a stay in Lisbon.

A wonderful stay in Lisbon!

Full disclosureā€¦ At first, I wasnā€™t sure about the neighborhood, but after several days appreciated not only the proximity to everything and the layout of the unit itself,but also the wonderful restaurant about 50 steps away, Geographia, owned by the same partnership that owns the fabulous La Boulangerie right across the streetā€¦ both a dangerous 50-ish steps from the front door to this unit! The plain croissants and almond croissants are to die for! The unit itself was great! Having that half bathroom was very handy, and the main bathroom itself is large enough that if you did have two couples staying there, they could easily leave their toiletries at one end of the counter without pressing anyone else for space. The kitchen was well equipped, but we really didnā€™t cook any meals there as there were too many options out and about. At the bottom of the hill, to the left is a little grocery store that has coffee and cream, things like that. The master closet was also wonderful, in that there are built-in drawers with space on top of them to put your suitcase and lay some things outā€¦for people who like being organized, theyā€™ll love that! The washing machine came in very handy, and the two racks to dry clothes on made it very easy to leave them up in the second bedroom and come home to them dry that night. Very quiet at night, and room to spread out. We would definitely stay here again!

Disappointed. We selected this apartment based on the reviews. Unfortunately, our visit didnā€™t live up to the expectations.The apartment was as shown in the pictures. It was clean and in a cute neighborhood. Check-in was easy. Unfortunately, we had two severe issues that caused us to leave the apartment after one night.The AC was not working properly. The AC was off when we arrived on a very hot Lisbon day. We turned it on, but the AC never cooled down the apartment. The power tripped off 12 times while we were there.While the host was very responsive to our messages, they were not empathetic to the situation of the uncomfortable heat and the power going off. For the AC issue, we were told it had been hotter than usual in Lisbon, but by this point, the apartment was 14 degrees Celsius hotter than the outside evening temperature. For the power tripping off, we were told we couldnā€™t have too many devices plugged in, which we didnā€™t. We couldnā€™t charge our phones out of fear that it would trip off the power or damage our phones by the power going out and being reset so many times. Also, like other guests mentioned, the water pipes in the main bathroom are very loud.The host said maintenance would come the next day, but the next morning they said they didnā€™t think they could get anyone out on the weekend, so we were given the option to leave. I hope the host is able to resolve the issues for future guests.

Wohnen wie die Locals

Man wohnt in einem Wohnhaus und von hier kann man Lissabon erkunden. Die Wohnung ist sauber und modern eingerichtet. Um die Ecke ist ein tolles CafƩ. Leider ist die Wohnung sehr hellhƶrig, man hat die Nachbarn von unter einem gehƶrt. Sie waren abends ƶfters mal lauter.
