Inside the property has been styled with an impressive mix of contemporary and traditional. The open-plan kitchen/living space boasts a beautiful fully equipped kitchen area with modern appliances (washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge), large comfy sofa, and television. The first floor living area has a spacious feeling while the exposed stone and original wooden beams offer a rustic character.

The modern bathroom comprises quality fittings with a large freestanding bath and walk in shower with beautiful scenic views from the window. The large bedroom boasts a huge super king size bed, complete with crisp white sheets and comfy pillows, beautiful original bare stone walls.

Blackberry Barn is a 200 year old converted barn, inside the property has been styled with an impressive mix of contemporary and traditional. The open-plan kitchen/living space boasts a beautiful fully equipped kitchen area with modern appliances (oven/hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer), large comfy sofa, television. The first floor living area has a spacious feeling while the exposed stone and original wooden beams offer a rustic character. The modern bathroom comprises quality fittings with a large freestanding bath and walk in shower with beautiful scenic views from the window. The large bedroom boasts a huge super king size bed, complete with crisp white sheets and comfy pillows, beautiful original bare stone walls.

Outside is an enclosed decked area surrounded by trees which has your own large private hot tub which is covered to give shelter from the rain. The hot tub can be used as much as you like during your stay.

Nice decor but a three night stay quickly revealed the need for a bit of a refresh - the couch was old and another chair in the living room, a dresser in the bedroom and maybe a small stool in the bathroom would have made for a better stay

Very relaxed

Our stay at Blackberry Barn was very relaxed and chilled out. It has everything you need to escape away for an overnight. The hot tub is a bonus and the Barn is finished to a very high standard, spotlessly clean and staff are on hand if needed. Would highly recommend.

Stayed 1 night, excellent facilities, brilliant place to stay. Very clean, quiet and great hot tub. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Unique refurbished historical barn accommodation. Close to top sites in Northern Ireland. Hot tub helped relieve tired legs after long days hiking.

The barn is really beautiful. From the listing I didn’t realise there were a couple of other cottages/ houses beside it. On the first night there was screaming and yelling from a neighbouring property until approx 11pm and could still be heard inside the barn despite the thick stone walls. The external lights would not come on so the hot tub area was pitch black with an opening in the fence for anyone to walk in. Second night was peaceful and the outside lights came on, with the same switches that hadn’t worked the night before. The missing gate still made me uncomfortable though. I left feedback on the checkout form before I left. I also messaged the hosts asking them to address my feedback before I left this review but I had no response from them. Paid a total of 400 for the weekend so to only be able to enjoy the second night wasn’t great value. I’ve waited a month to post this because I really don’t like to complain but out of fairness to the other places I’ve stayed I couldn’t give this the same rating. Maybe it was a one off and just my bad luck.

Everything, the tasteful and sensitive renovations, the luxurious bed, the well equipped kitchen, lounge, music, hooks, warm, clean hot tub. It was faultless and they even popped a wee bday banner up for the hubby. Thank you.

Cozy Stay & Thoughtful Hosts

The Blackberry Barn was comfortable & cozy. Everything was very clean, including the hot tub! The barn was decorated minimally & tastefully, appropriate for a rural stay. The location was great; quick drive to town & about 15-20 minutes to coast and all the beautiful sights. The hosts were also so kind and thoughtful. We stayed the night of Storm Eowyn and they let us stay a little later until we were comfortable making the commute back to Belfast.
