Large House With Tennis Court and Games Room!

Stubb Hill Farm, offered by Laura Lye Holiday Lets, is the perfect getaway for larger groups and families to enjoy idyllic countryside within easy striking distance of London. The farm has 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms + cloakroom, utility, a huge garden, fields, tennis court, games room, woods to play in and plenty of parking.

There is a big family kitchen which is well equipped for family cooking which leads into a casual sitting area with telly and then onto the dining room with a table that seats up to 10 guests. French doors open directly onto the terrace which has a further dining area and BBQ.

The whole family can sit together in the huge living room to chat, watch TV or relax in this sunny double aspect room. There is a pantry, cloakroom and utility room with washing machine and dryer on the ground floor.

Upstairs there are 5 bedrooms. The master bedroom is a very large with light coming streaming in from windows on 2 sides and wonderful views across the garden and fields beyond. It has an en suite bathroom and super king size bed. Bedroom 2 also has a super king size bed, bedroom 3 and have 2 single beds in each, and bedroom 5 is a smaller room with pull out truckle bed. There are 2 further bathrooms – one with bath and overhead shower and the other is a shower room.

Outside is a world of fun! We will leave tennis rackets and balls so everyone can try their hand at tennis and there is a badminton set and football goal in the garden! We’ll also leave a cricket bat but do bring balls! There is a games rooms with darts, table football, table ice hockey and ping pong.

There’s lots of outside seating and the garden is very large (perfect for a game of rounders!) and the field beyond also belongs to the house. You are free to use all of these areas but be aware that there are sometimes cows in the field! Behind the house are pretty woods for exploring, building dens and walking making this a wonderful addition to the Laura Lye Holiday let portfolio of Arundel Cottages.

Stubbs Hill Farm is approximately 1 hour 20 minutes from Clapham in London, 20 minutes to Goodwood Motor Circuit and 40 minutes to the beach! There are plenty of stately homes in the area, visit the amazing castle in Arundel where there are many special events and displays throughout the summer or take the family to the Weald & Downland outdoor Museum where culture meets fun for a great day out. There incredible walks over the South Downs, polo at Cowdray Park, wonderful antique shopping in Petworth, or take a day trip down to the coast!
