Fun Bachelorette Weekend

Great weekend with the girls! The house was spacious and clean, and had most everything we needed. The pool and outside bar were a great add on too.

Great home in a perfect location!

This house was perfect for what we were looking for. It was well kept and had ample bedrooms and space for everyone, and was in a great location. It was one row of houses from the beach (with views of the ocean), and easy to get both downtown or do things on IOP. Lisa was also a great host and attentive to our questions.

this was a wonderful place to stay. it had a cozy and warm feel- like home. the beach was one street over and walks there were gorgeous. the layout allowed lots of room to gather and hang out and to also have some private space. the sun porch from which you could see the water was perfect for our thanksgiving dinner. we did a lot of cooking to say the least and the kitchen was well equipped. the hosts were very welcoming and made sure to check if there was anything we wanted or needed. we would most definitely stay here again.

Wonderful location and roomy house! The ability to go to the beach and enjoy pool was awesome.

Plenty of space and good location

There was much more space than I anticipated and so was pleasantly surprised as our group of 10 fit very comfortably. It was far enough out of the town to be quiet, but close enough so we could walk in and out if we wanted. The owners were very nice and responsive

Perfect Beach House

Location is excellent for beach & restaurants! Pool & pool arena awesome for relaxing & enjoying. Layout of house lends itself to groups or families who like some space. Very clean & neat house. My active family really loved our visit!

Outstanding Location

Outstanding location not only with proximity to beach but on the quieter side of the island with very close access to downtown IOP (restaurants/shopping, etc). Spacious with plenty of sleeping areas to accommodate multiple people/families. Excellent pool area with shade and grill.

Relaxing Golf & Beach Getaway

Everything about Lisa's home was spectacular. You have views of the ocean, your own private pool to relax by and the beach is just one short block away! This cozy home is located just a short walk from a few local restaurants and bars. The home also had a great grill on the patio which we took full advantage of on our night in. To top it off Lisa was an incredibly gracious and responsive host. For anyone looking to get an authentic Isle of the Palms get away I would recommend stay at Lisa's home.

Nice weekend getaway

While the house is relatively small, it offers ample bedrooms, bathrooms and even a second living room on the first floor. It is only about a1 or 2 minute walk to get on the beach as the beach access is right across the street. From the second floor balcony you can see the ocean. Overall the house is not updated and looks a bit tired inside. While generally clean, the pots, pans, dishes and silverware were quite dirty. In my judgement the place is best suited for a family with many children or two families during a summer stay where you would spend most of your time outdoors. There is a nice pool and patio, perfect for summer fun. I would still recommend the place and the owners are very responsive and helpful.

A few issues

When we arrived the Air Conditioning was not working. And, it was SO hot. The HVAC man finally came and fixed it. Several lights were out. Some of the TVs didn't work. We had a terrible shower in the lower level.. the shower head needs to be changed. One of the toilets stopped up.The washing machine did not work and finally the very LAST afternoon, they sent a new one. But, staying at the beach - we expected for that to be working the whole time...No body wants used towels for 7 days!!! We finally had to go to a laundromat...time and expense was wasted on something that was advertised to be working.

We are sorry you did not completely enjoy your stay. I would like to address your issues. Our home has two separate air conditioners, one upstairs and one down. The upstairs unit was not working properly when you arrived. A repairman was at our home addressing the situation within hours after you notified us of the problem. Freon was added and the unit worked properly for the remainder of your stay. The washing machine was working properly before your arrival. When you notified us of this problem, a repairman was there the next day. He stated, “ Someone had pulled so hard on the lid of the washer the latch was broken”. He advised us since the washing machine was 8 years old to replace it. We then ordered a new washing machine and had it delivered as soon as possible. I personally used the washing machine the days previous to your arrival and it was working. You were correct about two of the TV’s. One needed to be reset and the small one for the videos was missing a wire. I also agree with you about the shower head. I was not aware the water flow to the shower head was not ideal and it is being replaced. Clogged toilet. Since I did not hear from you I assume the problem was solved with one of the plungers in our home. No problem was noted after your departure. I am sure you are a homeowner and things do happen. We try very hard to be available for our guests and work as quickly as possible to address any problems. We are truly sorry for the inconveniences. Best Regards, Lisa Windham
