The medieval hamlet of Serignana dates back to the 13th century and is located on the edge of the National Park of the Casentinesi Forests, Mount Falterona and Campigna. For those who love a holiday in nature, it will not be difficult to spot on the property typical specimens of the Tuscan Apennine fauna such as roe deer, deer, wild boar, porcupines, hawks, hares, pheasants and with a bit of luck the wolf.
Just a few hundred metres from the Borgo you can go sport fishing, trekking on foot, horseback or mountain-bike, visit the numerous waterfalls and the important peaks of the Apennines. In the Mugello area about 20-30 km away are: the archaeological site of Frascole (Dicomano), Lake Bilancino, the International Mugello Circuit, the Poggio dei Medici Golf Course.
