3 Bdrm/2Bath Cabin - Sleeps 8
The cabin was custom built in 1994 from 150 year old hand notched Cypress logs (it was not made from a kit) and has kitchen cabinets with old-fashioned tin punch panels like those in a pie safe. It sleeps 8 - it has three bedrooms (one with a queen, one with twin beds and a loft with a brass double bed), a queen sleeper sofa, and two full bathrooms. Don't let the country decor fool you. Every amenity is provided, including linens, dishes, TV/VCR/DVD, a fully equipped kitchen and dining room, washer and dryer, central heat and air and a warm fireplace. Serenity is on the back screened-in porch for you while you're sitting in your rocker or swing taking in the fantastic view. For dining out, there is a plethora of restaurants ranging from fine dining to down-home country cookin'.

Beautiful real cabin. Quite and secluded. Great decor. Made us feel at home.
Super Cute Property
Great cabin. Cozy and adorable. Neighbors are very close. Not sure how it would be if they were there.
Quiet retreat- will visit again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and hope to return for a longer trip. The cabin was beautiful and the decor was so interesting- so many little things to notice and check out. Definitely different from any other place we'd stayed- in a good way! The showers are small, but not a deal breaker. Staying here was a great way to disconnect from our busy lives for a while. I would definitely recommend!
Cozy log cabin
We especially enjoyed the screened porch and cozy fireside. Our stay was problem free and a great get a way. We were surprised, though, that the neighbors were so close; since they were not in residence, all was peaceful.
The home I've often dreamed about, such a neat experience!
I have to admit this is our transition from hotels to cabins. It was a little concerning at first but over the weekend we have found this handmade cabin to be warm and so full of personality. It is clean, comfortable and quiet, just what we needed to unwind from life near Atlanta. It is a perfect opportunity to experience log cabin life on a mountain. The driveway is a bit steep for us flatlanders but we got used to it and it wasn't an issue. I would recommend this cabin to anyone that has dreamed of living in a true log cabin home. It was really a great experience for us. Getting to Blairsville is quite simple once you figure it out. Go by the directions provided to find the cabin. GPS is not accurate :) The cabin is centrally located near Blue Ridge and Hiawasee, making it a perfect base to experience North georgia. We enjoyed riding the Blue Ridge Scenic railway also. We had a very enjoyable weekend!
Wonderful Log Cabin Getaway
We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful cabin, Not only was it really fun to see the décor, but the amenities were all there! We enjoyed our stay SO much! Thank you for sharing this wonderful home!
This log cabin is absolutely unique. It sits high atop a small mountain just outside of Blairsville, Georgia. Nearby you'll find rugged white water rafting and relaxing golf. Try Vogel State Park or the Appalachian Trail for hiking. The beauty of the waterfalls, located minutes away, is world renowned. Boating, fishing, bowling, cinemas, horseback riding, and gem mining are within easy driving distance - as are picturesque Helen, Georgia and Highlands, North Carolina. Don't pass up a visit to Brasstown Bald Mountain - at 4784 ft the highest point in Georgia - where you'll see four states at once.
