The cabin was amazing! It was stocked up with everything needed for cooking. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure was great! It was beautifully decorated for Christmas! The best sleep I’ve ever had! I loved the layout of the cabin, and the location was great! The host was very attentive and responded to our messages right away.

Amazing mountain retreat bursting with fall color! With a bedroom and bathroom on all three levels, it's perfect for families who want to stay together and still have some privacy. Loved seeing so many deer! Kelly's guidebook had all sorts of very helpful recommendations for dining and sightseeing. As we explored North Georgia, the cabin served as our home base, and the pictures alone do not do it justice. We had everything we needed and truly felt at home. Only wish we could've stayed longer.

Thank you for the beautiful review. We were so excited when we bought the cabin. Having an ensuite up plus the loft, a bedroom and full bath on the main, and a large bedroom, bath, and second living space in the walk out basement gives us space for us, my mom, and my kids and their friends. I'm glad you got to visit all the places. Being so close to Vogel, Brasstown Bald, Chattanooga, Murphy, Blue Ridge, Helen, and the apple orchards and grape vineyards. Come back in the early summer and you can tube :). That is so much fun. Thank you again for visiting with us!

Best Vacation Spot Ever

The owners go above and beyond. It's like being gone without all the chores and so much to do. The games, hot tub, fireplace, fire pit, relaxation at to m the majestic log cabin to excellent shops and breathtaking waterfalls within a shooter drive.

A tranquil getaway

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. It literally had everything we needed and more to make our stay comfortable and entertaining. The neighborhood is beautiful and gated which made us feel very safe. We highly recommend visiting.

Beautiful location in the mountains. Very clean and safe. We loved our stay. Setting the kids up in the basement, contained and entertained was the best part! Beds were comfortable.

The walkout basement having it's own media area, dining area and sleeping for 5 has been something several people have complemented. We questioned having a bunk bed, but people love having that lower space in the cabin. Thanks for taking time to write a review. Hope you got the jacket and pillow we sent. See you next time!!!

Awesome cabin

We enjoyed a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin with absolutely gorgeous views of the mountains. The cabin worked perfectly for our family group of four adults and four children. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen, and the great recommendations for local restaurants and nearby sites to visit. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Beautiful Cabin With a View!

We enjoyed our 3 day stay at this beautiful cabin in the woods. The scenery and the atmosphere is all worth every bit of our 6 hour drive. The hosts were amazing and I definitely recommend you stay here to get away from the busy life. Great disc golf and pickleball close by. Not to mention, the hikes at Vogel were amazing.

Shana, we are so glad you enjoyed your time here. The three levels are super helpful to give everyone their space, but the seating for 10 at the dining table encourages together time. I enjoyed talking with you during your stay. I love to live vicariously through my guests and have decided we will start asking guests to provide one picture from their stay and will turn it into a canvas to put on the wall by the staircase. Great Host- Easy communication

Way better than expected! A lot of detail and well stocked for guests! Quiet lovely area with many lakes, rivers, water sports and hiking nearby! We will definitely save this place for a return visit!

Gorgeous mountain stay! Relaxing and easy!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about this gorgeous property. The owners are super quick and easy to communicate with and the place is super clean and comfortable. They have everything you could want to make it feel like home away from home. The location cannot be beat! Just a short drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Helen, Dillard, and so much more. We will definitely return!

The Most Amazing Experience

Fabulous Fall Adventure

The cabin was beautiful and had all the necessary amenities to cook and enjoy cabin life. The neighborhood was beautiful overlooking the gorgeous fall colors. Vogel State Park was exquisite with wonderful hikes. Kelly and Hank are wonderful host, and we look forward too out next trip to the mountains staying at Owl Ridge!

We had a wonderful stay. The host is awesome. She took extra measures to make our stay enjoyable. We already had the best place though. The cabin was quite and peaceful. We truly enjoyed deer watching every day. Families of deer meandered through the place mornings and evenings.The view of the mountains each morning was pure joy. The cabin was very clean, the beds were comfortable, everyone had their own space, and there was no need to bring extra anything, the host made sure the cabin was fully stocked with everthing we needed and then some. The hot tub was used several times and the host made sure it was clean and that we were able to fully enjoy it. We would definitely stay again and I would encourage anyone to give this place a try, because after you stay, you won't want to leave. The drive up was just as pleasant as the cabin. No steep roads or drop offs and surrounded by the trees on both sides. We loved it!

Relaxing NYE with friends

We enjoyed staying here for a weekend to celebrate the New Year with friends. Kelly was very easy to communicate with, and helped with all minor problems we had. She even left us a sweet ornament as a gift!

Owls Ridge-Peaceful and beautiful escape

We loved our week at this beautiful cabin. It is located in a very nice, gated community. The mountain view from the cabin is gorgeous, and we enjoyed spending our mornings and evenings on the porch. This property is located in a great location with many fun activities within an hour or less (white water rafting, tubing, jet ski/boat rentals, hiking and waterfalls, restaurants). The cabin is very well equipped. Beds were all comfortable. Kelly was a pleasure to work with. Thanks for allowing us to rent your mountain cabin.

Fantastic weekend retreat!

This tucked-way and beautiful home is simply stunning. The mountains are perfectly relaxing, the neighborhood is super quiet (and gated!) and the cabin itself has all you will need for a perfect vacation! We enjoyed fishing, shopping, dining and simply relaxing with our children. The porches were ideal, the leaves were beginning to turn, the town was quaint and the drive in and out was breath-taking. To top it off, Kelly is the perfect host! I highly recommend booking this place if there is any availability left. The ONLY negative is that our trip had to end…kids are already asking when we can come back=)

Amanda, I am so glad you got to get away and spend some time relaxing with your family. This is truly a happy place for us...a reset. All our guests love the views from the cabin and then, as they head to the gate, they stop and take pictures. I understand...I do it too. Every season has something different to share. If you get to come in January - March, you will probably get to see some snow. We had snow all three months last year. It is short lived, but it is so much fun. Glad you came. Hope you come back soon. And, be sure if it is May - October, you visit the Blairsville/Union County Farmer's Market. We spend our Saturday mornings there and have produce and fresh eggs for the week.

Hank and I have been traveling to the mountains almost as long as we've been married. Last year we decided we wanted to make the dream of owning a cabin a reality. Through a FB post and a friend, Owl's Ridge became ours. It's never been a rental, but we wanted to share it with people until we are there full time. We love to hike and kayak. Vogel and Amicalola State Parks are favorites of ours and escaping the Florida heat to get to the mountains is just a dream come true.

Honestly, we never dreamed we would own a cabin this beautiful. This was a blessing and the minute we saw it, we were in love. Even now, we wake up in the middle of the night and thank God for the mountains, the weather, the cabin, the neighbors and more. Owl's Ridge is literally on a ridge. We can see the Appalachian Mountains in Georgia all year around. In the winter time, when the leaves have browned, we can see the North Carolina mountains. We are literally a football field away from NC.
There is nothing like the view from our porch...nothing.
