nice weather

it was on the 1th view very nice , a lot of thing broken, coffee machine didn't work. heating didn't work, smell from the bathroom downstairs, the house was not 100 clean and no enter at 16 h as on the confirmation, someone was still cleaning. the outside furniture was very dirty. I guess if the building should be maintained more carefully it should be the nicest place to be. because it's a very nice and cosy house. also the village is very nice. But with the service as it is now, there is no change that we should advise this place to someone or go back.

Dear Chris - thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and I'm pleased that you enjoyed the village. I'm so sorry to hear you thought your stay was only worth one star. If you had told us at the time that you were struggling with the heating and coffee machine we would have been able to help you, but this review is the first time we have heard about any of your problems. I personally stayed in the house with friends the day after your group left and can assure you the heating and coffee machine were working for us. I assume you had a problem working the pellet stove in the kitchen which could have been easily solved, and we do provide the instructions for the coffee machine. I'm sorry you had these issues, but we have many happy guests who enjoy the atmosphere and surroundings, and this is a combination of the recent renovations with the house that is hundreds of years old in beautiful countryside. I have passed on your comments to our cleaners who normally do an excellent job of the changeovers but can focus on these issues in future. I hope you have an enjoyable summer :)
