Charming but unfinished
The flat is cute and clean, but weirdly unfinished. When we were there, only half of the lights worked, not all of the plugs worked, there were construction materials stacked on the landings, all of the pictures and mirrors were leaning against the walls. I messaged the landlord, who responded 2 days later to say that he had scheduled construction but the contractor had been delayed. OK...but in the meantime, he rented it for full price. This left a bad taste in my mouth. He did send us a french press when we pointed out there was no way to make coffee. The location is perfect and the flat is clean, but do be aware that the top floor bedroom has no bathroom on that floor--you have to either go down and into the bedroom on the next floor, or go all the way to the first floor. There are multiple flights of steps to get into the flat, and more inside the flat itself. I've rented many flats in London and probably wouldn't use this one again.
