Clematis Cottage near Minsterley, Shropshire sleeps three in two bedrooms.

The living areas in the property consist of a kitchen/diner equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher and dining seating for three guests and a living/dining room with Smart TV and woodburning stove. The bedrooms include a king-size and a single, along with a shower room. Outside there is an enclosed rear small yard, as well as off-road parking for one car. Within 0.1 miles you will find a shop and within 5 miles, a pub and please note that that is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Clematis Cottage is a lovely escape for a family in Shropshire. Note: Check-in from 4pm, check-out at 10am. Note: Property allows 1 small and friendly dog. Garden available from June with furniture. Please note: on the 3rd of October chimney sweep will visit the property from 11.00 onwards for a couple of hours

Region: A E Housman once wrote that Shropshire was “the quietest place under the sun” and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as one of the least crowded and most peaceful regions in England.

Town: The thriving village of Minsterley lies in the beautiful Shropshire Hills, just 10 miles from the medieval town of Shrewsbury. Minsterley boasts a pub, one of the oldest buildings in the village, a shop and Post Office and an excellent fish and chip shop! The village of Pontesbury is just one mile away and offers further amenities, including takeaways and restaurants, plus Arscott Golf Club, Springlea Fishing Pools and the Pontesbury cycle/footpath. Close by is The Long Mynd, which is a haven for walkers and wildlife watchers and provides a convenient place to relax and take in the wonderful scenery on offer. One of England's finest heritage towns with over 600 listed buildings, Shrewsbury nestles on a loop of the River Severn. Admire the pretty cobbled alleys and squares and enjoy the many festivals on offer including Shrewsbury's Summer Season. Shrewsbury has a magnificent Abbey founded in 1083, as well as Shrewsbury Castle, which stands in beautiful gardens and grounds and is home to the Shropshire Regimental Museum. There are plenty of interesting things to do in the area with the National Trust's Attingham Park, Wroxeter Roman City, the museums at Ironbridge, the castle and Michelin starred restaurant of Ludlow and Acton Scott working farm, as featured in the Victorian Farm TV series, this lovely village is the perfect touring spot for your Shropshire adventure.
