The accommodation was very suitable for what we were looking for: quiet, self-contained and handy for access on the one hand to the rail station and on the other to Corbridge centre, both on foot. We didn't try the nearby pub (Dyvels Inn) or the Indian restaurant, but both looked very inviting. The access lane is single file with some blind corners but locals are clearly aware of the hazards and take it slowly. We had a little confusion about parking arrangements but this was resolved by the owner.

My first visit to Corbridge and definitely won’t be the last. Beautiful town with lots of lovely walks , shops , pubs & restaurants . Stanners Studio is perfectly located and really lovely . Very well equipped and spotlessly clean . The garden is great and gives a real sense of privacy . Thank you to Nick and Katie who were super helpful .

Not enough for the price.

One night in what looks like a place better equipped for the summer than the colder months. Noisy fridge woke us up continuously as it turns on and off. Terrible shower….hard to manoeuvre and constantly changing from cold to burning hot. Has the potential to be more. Will not book again at that price.

Heerlijke eigen studio met royale voorzieningen en een eigen tuintje. Corbridge met winkels (waaronder de beknde COOP) en restaurants ligt aan de andere kant van de rivier Tyne. Dicht bij het staion.

About the host

We've lived in Corbridge for over 30 years. Our five children have grown up and and so we now have the space to create our separate studio and share what is special about the area with our guests. We know the area well and really enjoy helping our guests to make the most of their trip to Corbridge - whether it's a one night stay when you're walking Hadrian's Wall, cycling National Route 72 or using the studio as a base to explore the area.

Why they chose this property

We love Corbridge because it has just about everything. A picturesque village steeped in history, on the River Tyne and surrounded by spectacular countryside. Within a short walk beside the road or through a small and beautiful wood you can be in the centre of the village enjoying pubs, cafes, restaurants and some great independent shops. Corbridge is the jewel on the Tyne. In the immediate area of the studio there's a stunning riverside walk, you can stop off at the cricket club, have a drink at the bar and watch a few overs, take in a rugby match at Tynedale RFC or set off exploring on your bike on roads remarkably free of traffic.

What makes this property unique

The Studio is comfortable, cosy and fully equipped for self-catering. There's a good electric shower and underfloor heating. The studio garden is private and enclosed and if you need to store two bikes there's a lockable bike store.
