Relaxing stay in rural setting

A perfectly relaxing stay in a sublime rural setting. The location is remote but with a small village near by (eat at The Punch Bowl). Jenna is a wonderful host who also cooks ace breakfasts. It was exactly what we hoped for, thank you.

very good stay as usual.

Jenna is always so helpful and I just love the peaceful location, comfortable room and bed, and pleasant surroundings. The breakfast is excellent, the parking good, and plenty of local places to visit. Very dog friendly too, which is much appreciated. Local walks from the door. i would book a bigger room next time,as it was a little cramped, but that was due to full bookings of the other rooms, which are good.

Thank you so much for your review, and I’m glad you were able to relax and unwind while you were here. I’ll certainly take on board you comment about the milk, although having tried fresh milk before I find it's mostly just thrown out and I can’t bear waste! Many thanks, Jenna.

Perfect accommodation in idyllic suroundings

We were visiting Edmundbyers to pick up a puppy, but living 300 miles away, needed overnight accommodation. The owners are friendly and helpful particularly as we had to arrive late due to traffic delays. The room and setting are very pleasant and we would have been happy to have stayed longer if we were holidaying in the area. Delicious breakfast in the spacious bright breakfast conservatory.
