Sun, culture, vineyards and olive groves – this holiday retreat is within reach of it all - or you can simply get lost in a book and relax by the pool.

This spacious family villa is quietly located in a small village on the Istrian peninsula, a 20-minute drive from the popular resort of Poreč. The accommodation is arranged over two floors and comfortably sleeps 8 guests. Designed for outdoor living the property is surrounded by a private garden and enjoys a large pool, a spacious sun deck, an outdoor shower and a covered al fresco dining area with a BBQ.

Inside, the bright and spacious, open-plan living area incorporates; a dining room with a large table and chairs that leads out to the terrace, a TV room with comfortable seating and a fully equipped kitchen fitted with; a gas cooker hob, an american-style coffee machine, a dishwasher, an oven, microwave and a fridge freezer.

The location of the villa makes it an ideal base for many day trips, but for guests who choose not to leave the area, there are several restaurants and a supermarket
nearby in addition to the local beach and marina which are only a 6-minute drive away.

The owner does not accept any groups of teenagers and parties are not allowed.

Location

Vabriga is a small village close to Poreč in the Croatian region of Istria. Nature enthusiasts will find plenty to explore in the surrounding countryside which is characterised by rolling hills, vineyards, picturesque Istrian villages and olive groves, with hiking and biking trails that wind through the landscape. The Parenzana Trail (a 12-minute drive), a former railway track is worth exploring and there are several wineries within a 15-minute drive from the accommodation.

Poreč one of the most popular resorts in Croatia is a 20-minute drive away. With its cobblestone streets, historical architecture and vibrant cultural scene, the town has become a sought-after destination for travellers seeking a blend of relaxation and exploration.

In Poreč’s Old Town visitors can explore an array of charming boutiques, galleries and cafes nestled amongst the ancient Roman, Byzantine and Venetian architecture. The Euphrasian Basilica (a 20-minute drive), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is particularly worth visiting.

The picturesque village of Červar-Porat (a 10-minute drive) is also worth visiting where guests can explore waterfront restaurants, cafes and shops in the small marina. It is also possible to hire boats here to explore the coastline from the sea.

Poreč offers a choice of beaches including; Brulo Beach (a 22-minute drive), Plava Laguna Beach (a 20-minute drive away) and Zelena Laguna Beach (an 18-minutue drive), here guests can relax in the sun or engage in water sports like kayaking, paddle boarding, and snorkelling. Children will also enjoy the Istralandia Water Park (a 20-minute drive) which provides a fun-filled day of water-based fun for all ages.

Golf enthusiasts can visit the nearby Adriatic Golf Club in Savudrija (a 40-minute drive), which offers an 18-hole course with views of the sea and surrounding landscapes. There are also many tennis courts on the Poreč Riviera an indoor aquatic centre, wellness and fitness centres, mini golf and opportunities to get involved with diving, sailing, surfing, sailing, water skiing, canoeing, rowing and riding.

The closest international airport is Pula (PUY) approximately a 50-minute drive away from the accommodation.
