The cabin was set up very nicely, well maintained and had wonderful views. The owner was easy to work with and followed up with us upon our arrival.
Stayed here for three relaxing nights. The cabin has magnificent views. I used the gas fireplace every night. I loved everything about this vacation rental. The owner Judy is great to deal with.
Excellent in Every Respect
This is a beautifully constructed and tastefully appointed home in a high quality hillside subdivision with outstanding views and easy access to Murphy, Brasstown Bald, John Campbell Folk School, and the casino. Every amenity you might need is provided. Rates are very reasonable for this high quality property and owner provides excellent communication to ensure that your stay is very enjoyable.
The perfect escape to the mountains
I could not have asked for a better home to stay in for our long weekend in the mountains. The home has everything you need for a stay and is comfortable and cozy. It was the perfect amount of space for the four of us staying there. We loved the porch, firepit and of course the views. Judy was an amazing host with clear communication both before and throughout our trip. I highly suggest a stay in this home, everything from the home to the hosts made it a perfect stay!
This was the most beautiful cabin in the most beautiful spot. It was very quiet and relaxing and everything you could ever need was close by.
Great Place and Affordable!
This cabin is magnificent! Clean, well maintained, roomy and decorated well. The view is spectacular with lots of deer running through the property which could be seen from the huge wrap around deck. GPS gets you there and is easy to access. Close to the cute town of Murphy in which we enjoyed Parsons Pub. Try the Reuben flat bread and a brew. You can't go wrong. It is also close to the casino in which we left a few dollars but had a good time, and only 30 miles away from Blue Ridge. When in Blue Ridge be sure to stop in Out Of The Blue. It has a fine array of cheeses and wines with an expert to guide you through your selection. Nothing better than a nice bottle of wine, cheese and crackers while sitting on the deck watching the sun go down. They also have lots of bar, party, gift and entertainment items. Prices are reasonable.
One of the nicest things about this property that we haven't seen in other rentals is most everything is labeled. Light/fan switches, and Wi-Fi login (at the computer desk) were especially helpful. Very good cell, satellite and Wi-Fi service too! The owner was also great to work with. She called to make sure we got in and that everything was fine. Another nice touch that you don't find everywhere.
So, if you're looking for a spectacular get-a-way, this is the place. You will not be disappointed. Definitely a 5 star property.
