Perfect location, the best views. All that you need!

There are even grocery tote bags to use at the grocery store. The cooler and ice packs came in handy for day trips. The AC was great, but i think we used up all the solar energy for the cooling, as we had minimal hot water. Would stay again.

Definitely Downtown

If you like to enjoy proximity to downtown & tourist locations, then this is the spot for you! If you would like a quieter, peaceful vacation rental, this is not it. This is in downtown Kralendijk. You can walk to shops, restaurants, etc. Just beware, that means that you are in the middle of all the action. It. Is. Noisy. Sometimes at 3AM. It is also trafficky - meaning it will take an extra 10-15m to get out of the area if you are leaving at a busy time. The view of the Caribbean Sea is spectacular... when there isn't a cruise ship in port, which is almost daily. Dreaming of watching the sunset over the sea while you sip wine on your patio? I hope your fantasy includes a giant cruise ship in the foreground. That said, you are steps away from restaurants and bars with a better view.The building itself is well-situated to take advantage of the tradewinds and you can open the doors and windows of the apartment to get an excellent breeze. There is also air conditioning, so you can be comfortable anywhere in the space. The key situation was not great. I got the key stuck in the door that allows you to enter the building and was stuck outside in the heat and sun for an hour, with lunch. My partner was stuck inside the apt. b/c you need they key to get out. It was very clean and the bed was the most comfortable I've slept on anywhere in Bonaire or Curaçao.
