The Little Patio House

The Little Patio House is a charming rural retreat hidden in the heart of Agios Prokopios village, offering an intimate and authentic Corfiot experience just a short drive from Corfu Town. Once an old storage space, it has been lovingly restored to preserve its natural materials and traditional character, while providing guests with a bright, tranquil hideaway filled with sunlight and surrounded by the peaceful sounds of village life. Ideal for couples seeking a serene escape, the house features its signature patio and balcony areas that invite slow mornings, relaxed afternoons, and starlit evenings.

Inside, the ground-level house reveals a warm open-plan space where antique Corfiot furnishings blend with modern comforts. Floor-to-ceiling balcony doors fill the living area with daylight, while a staircase leads to the mezzanine bedroom with a comfortable double bed and access to a small upper balcony, perfect for enjoying the sun or an evening drink. The fully equipped kitchen includes an oven, fridge, cooking utensils, plates, glasses, a toaster, a kettle, and a moka pot, while the bathroom features a shower, toiletries, and fresh linens. The house offers Wi-Fi up to 24 Mbps, air conditioning, and a hair dryer. Hot water is provided via an electric boiler that guests activate from the electrical panel, typically needing 15–20 minutes to heat before switching it off for safety. A baby cot is available upon request, and self check-in is handled through a convenient keybox.

Located in Agios Prokopios village, the house sits just 30 meters from the local square, where a traditional café and a modern one serve local dishes, wines, and light meals. Daily visits from greengrocers, bakers, and fishmongers enrich the authentic village atmosphere, offering fresh produce and homemade goods right at your doorstep. The surrounding countryside provides beautiful walking paths connecting Agios Prokopios with neighboring villages, while Corfu Town is only 8 km away and the airport just 6 km. The famous beaches of the central west coast—Glyfada, Kontogialos, Myrtiotissa, and more—are easily reached by car through scenic routes lined with olive groves and cypresses, and the nearest beach, Agios Gordios, is about a ten-minute drive. Guests may park along the village road before continuing on foot through the pedestrian path leading to the house.

House rules do not allow parties, pets, or smoking. Check-in begins at 15:00, with earlier entry possible if the house is ready, and check-out is at 10:00. Quiet hours in the village are from 15:00 to 17:00 and from 23:00 to 07:00. As in all of Corfu and many areas of Greece, the sewage system is old and cannot handle toilet paper or waste, so guests must use the bathroom bin. The property uses a keybox for flexible self check-in, and child equipment is available upon request to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay.
