Our apartment was close to a local shop and a couple of cafes which was handy. Did not see any information about how loud the church bells were and how early they chime in the morning. States it’s a local Portuguese area so to be quiet between 10pm and 9am but it was very loud far after this in the evening and also mornings. The bin men came very early Tuesday morning also. All in all a loud area and hard to sleep. There was a very strong damp smell in the bathroom and you couldn’t shut the bathroom door, Towels were thin and scruffy and didn’t dry well. Was hard to open the windows as all the latches were broken.. A bit disappointing in all honesty.as was looking forward to staying in a light and bright quiet area but didn’t see this at all during our 3 night stay.Left feeling tired and a bit underwhelmed
