The municipality of Arnoldstein is located in the Gailtal Valley, and nearby is Carinthia's first nature park, the Dobratsch, nestled in the magnificent Carinthian Lake District, the easternmost peak of the Gailtal Alps. The gateway to the Villach Alps, the town of Villach with its Warmbad-Villach thermal baths, is also absolutely worth a visit! In summer, Lake Faak and Lake Ossiach offer plenty of swimming fun! The town offers ample shopping for daily needs, as well as a good selection of restaurants.
