About this property

Artistic Bungalow with Amazing Lake Arenal Views

The exterior of our home inclues a 600 sq. foot covered wraparound porch where we gather, read and paint--even on rainy days (a real plus as we do get warm rain). The interior is all custom made by one of the local artisan contractors, including slotted bamboo kitchen cupboards and custom carved doors and accent pieces. We are also continously adding to our art collection which currently includes several colorful paintings. This truly feels like an inviting home base, from which you can explore the beauty and wonder of Costa Rica.
Sitting on our deck looking over the lake is like being on tropical safari. The area is a serene, magical place to rendezvous with nature. We are 40 minutes from La Fortuna (much closer than many lake homes) and even closer to zip lining, kayaking, horseback riding and gorgeous Volcano Arenal. The house has a spacious, open floor plan and wrap around deck with spectacular views. We enjoy the breeze off the lake, which provides comfort year round. We hope you come enjoy our slice of heaven!

We finally completed our dream home on the lake in the Summer of 2017 and are now opening our doors to share what we have created with those who come to Lake Arenal to relax, getaway and explore this beautiful country. We are 40 minutes from La Fortuna, near zip lining, kayaking, horseback riding, hot springs and Volcano Arenal. We're also 10 minutes from the acclaimed Gingerbread Restaurant and the quaint town of Nuevo Arenal. The house has a spacious, open floor plan and wraparound deck with spectacular views. The breeze off the lake provides comfort year round.

What makes this property unique

You can bird watch easily from our deck--or stroll the property and enjoy the abundant fruit of our banana, papaya and lime trees (more fruit trees coming!) We are not directly in town, which is a definite plus as you will experience the raw beauty of the lake and surrounding areas. However, we are only about 1/8 th of a mile off the main road around the lake which makes travel in and out quite easy. We searched long and hard to find the ideal spot for our getaway and we are quite certain that we found it!
