The views at this property are spectacular! Our original booking cancelled within a month of our trip and we were so grateful to have found this property. It is located an hour from La Fortuna where most of our excursions were but we loved the drive! Met several locals who were all so special and fun to interact with. You MUST try out the recommended restaurants! You won't be disappointed! Finally, Mary, the property manager was super quick to respond to our inquires.

Beautiful home and location! You will not be disappointed with your stay should you book. Clean and very well equipped. Jim and Britney were great hosts. This is a five star stay. Being upcountry we enjoyed the temps and constant breeze.

Great home and location close to Tilaran and La Fortuna.

Lots of bird watching, ziplining and great restaurants to pick from. Wonderful VRBO, highly recommend to friends and family who love nature and adventure. We have been to Costa Rica during the last 25 years and this probably our favorite spot to stay.

Quiet tranquil getaway

Loved the isolated location, coffee on the deck in the mornings. Could use a toaster and a microwave for amenities, other than thay it was amazing.

Hi Brent. Thanks for the nice review. Just to clarify for others reading this, there’s a microwave over the stove (as in the listing pictures), and there’s a toaster that may be in the cabinet if it’s not being used.. Hope you can visit again in the future! Jim & Britney

best stop on our visit

this was our last stay of 4 in Costa Rica and the best by far. the home was well built and maintained with quality materials. (it really felt like a home away from home) the views were great and the property manager was super. El Corral restaurant was close by with fantastic food and the Venado cave tours cant be missed.
