The Stable is a lovingly converted single-storey cottage with views over the owner's pony paddocks situated near to the town of Llandysul and can sleep four people in one double bedroom and one twin room. There is a family shower room. The living area is open-plan consisting of a kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dining area for four and a sitting area with woodburning stove and TV. Outside there is off-road parking for one car and a private garden with patio and furniture. Within one mile or less you will find a shop, a pub and a river and please note that one well-behaved dog is welcome but sorry, no smoking. Town: The small village of Llandinam stands beside the River Severn and is steeped in history from even before Roman times. Today, the village has an excellent pub/restaurant and is surrounded by superb countryside - perfect for walking, cycling and mountain biking, fishing, birdwatching and kite feeding. Just 5 miles away is the historic town of Llanidloes, also built on the banks of the River Severn. It boasts a variety of architecture including timber-framed black and white houses, with the impressive old market hall being its finest example. There is a good choice of amenities in the town, including antique shops, pubs, restaurants, organic cafes and scenic riverside walks. There is also a riding school just five miles away. The renowned beauty spots of Llyn Clywedog, with its 236ft dam, and Hafren Forest, offering sailing and fabulous scenery, are both close by. If you would like to travel further afield then Caersws station is just 2.5 miles away and has excellent rail links to Birmingham and London. The beautiful West Wales coast, Elan Valley, Gregynog Hall and Cader Idris are just some of the many other attractions a little further afield.
