The lobby may be a little run down, but once in the flat is very nicely done. Little touches around the flat, biscuits and so on were nice and there is a view of the sea.

An escalated complaint was raised under safety/security with your agents and a refund is requested. We were extremely disappointed with this experience as it was not what we were used to, as a loyal VRBO customer - All previous properties were excellent and this is why we returned to VRBO again this year. The agents were supportive and we understand that we will be contacted shortly as regards the points raised. We hope to be reassured that when we book with VRBO in the future, this situation will not be repeated. We look forward to hearing from your team very soon.

Disappointing

Many unexpected issues whilst I was there; 1. Couldn't find key box as photo hadn't been included in check in (there are 6 key boxes) 2. Outside of apartment and indoor communal area is akin to uni halls of residence. Just not what I expected from a £120 a night apartment. 3. TV remote batteries were flat so had to buy batteries to watch TV 4. Wifi dropped out in the morning (and you can't watch TV without wifi as no aerial) 5. No proper shower in the bathroom just an attachment to the bath. Water was a dribble and either boiling hot or freezing cold. I couldn't shower for 2 days. 6. Apartment is over a pub garden. Night 1 was heavy metal, night 2 was techno. Thank god I had earplugs. The owner was good at communicating and had made an effort with little touches inside the apartment (sweets, biscuits) but I won't be coming back and do not recommend this for a business stay.

I have had this property on other platforms for over a year now with an 4.9⭐️ (from over 100 bookings) throughout and never had such an appalling review. You were my first guest from Vrbo and you can only have so many pictures listed. I made a mistake by not posting a picture of the exact key safe but after you messaged asking which one it was I replied within 30 seconds. My apartment was listed as town centre with FREE parking. Sadly there must have been an event on at the local pub so I apologise for that and the music in a town centre property on a weekend. The batteries were not flat, after your second message we worked out you had used the wrong remote that was hidden away and not the main remote left out for you. My apartment is listed with NO shower and it is also in the welcome message I sent you 3 weeks prior. There is a large bath and as I explained when you messaged we provide bubble bath for guests too. You seemed to understand this when you messaged a third time. I did however offer to come and show you how to run a bath. Apologies you weren’t happy but I have many many lovely happy guests who would understand my shock at this awful review.
