Within a miles radius of the pier, visitors can enjoy an array of attractions, including Marine Lake where you’ll find water based activities, traditional amusements and a funfair, and plenty of bars, restaurants, cafés and shops. Southport is renowned for its world-class golf courses, with seven championship golf courses including the Royal Birkdale as a prominent example. Shoppers will delight in exploring the famous Lord Street, which not only features an abundance of excellent shops but also offers numerous inviting bars, cafés, and restaurants.

Nature enthusiasts come to visit the Marshside RSPB Nature Reserve and Crosby beach is around a 30-minute drive where you’ll find the art installation ’Another Place’ by Antony Gormley.
