The apartment is ideally located to enjoy the city : you are less than a hundred feet from the most central subway station in Paris, « Châtelet Les Halles ». You will be living in Le Marais-Les Halles, one of the best and most beautiful areas of Paris, within walking distance from the banks of the Seine and city highlights like the Louvre, Notre Dame and the Latin Quarter. The area is full of bakeries and traditional French restaurants, from typical daily brasserie to refined French cuisine, you will feel like a true Parisian.

After climbing four stairs (as it’s in a 16th century building there is no elevator), you reach a newly renovated apartment that is full of natural light and cosy atmosphere with its plants and authentic feel.
It is equiped with air-conditioning and all the necessary amenities including a washing machine and a drying machine.

Great location with easy access to public transportation. Area felt safe and plenty of food options nearby. As stated in listing just know you will have to climb up serval flights of stairs (and be sure to hit the light switch). We did use the kitchen a lot which was very nice, I did wish that there were more hand towels though. Overall we had a wonderful stay!!

This was a fantastic apartment! I was a solo traveler and I felt safe. The bed was extremely comfortable, the kitchen had everything I needed, I was able to have espresso every morning and it was a wonderful experience. I would rate this a 10 out of 10!

Our stay at Henri’s beautiful apartment was everything we hoped it would be, and our expectations were high!!! Henri was the most accommodating host we’ve ever had, the property is absolutely stunning and the amenities are first class. The area is fantastic - it seemed everything was in walking distance!! I couldn’t recommend this apartment more!!

Great location, charming!

Excellent communication from the owners from the time of booking to the checkin. The place was perfectly located to get around to so many of the great sites of Paris. While it was very clear about the 4 flights of stairs up to the rental, 80 steps, make no mistake it is difficult. We are fit people and were there to cycle and run. The stairwell is dark and steep so be prepared. We were in and out 3-4 times per day, its a workout for sure. Once you get to the rental, you will have everything you need, a lovely decor, beautiful windows to let in the fresh air, comfy bed and we liked that the shower was in one room and the toilet in another. The building was quiet. They had everything we needed.You are surrounded by many restaurant choices and shops and close to the Seine for running and biking.

Lovely, bright apartment perfectly located in Paris

This apartment is a hop, skip, and a jump from one of the most central metro stations in Paris. You also can walk everywhere and anywhere! Henri was always very responsive when we reached out to him with a question or a request. The apartment itself is lovely, nicely appointed and very comfortable. We would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone for a great stay!

Dream Stay!

Fabulous time at this charming apartment.Don’t let the stairs intimidate you, you feel less guilty about consuming pate and croissant every day and you stay in shape with a smile.Henri was super responsive and his check-in system is flawless. Highly recommend and hope to return in the future.

The best we've stayed at in Paris!

This apartment was just as we had hoped for, great location, high quality and plentiful amenities, very clean, large comfortable bed, a full size couch and other comfortable chairs (it's disappointing so many rentals don't), and a thoughtful, helpful host. It is up 4 flights of stairs, we had no problems at all but we were glad there wasn't 5! Highly recommend this apt, we will rent here again.

Lovely apartment in great location!

Modern convenience with historic charm best describes this lovely apartment! Very clean and nice furnishings. Location is excellent for trains, cafes, shopping and walking access to all attractions.It is located on the fourth floor with no elevator and Parisian stairs, however you only carry luggage up once so not really an issue unless you bring oversized bags.We had a beautiful time here and appreciate the communication with Henri the owner. He was very thorough. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

A Perfect Stay in Paris

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in this charming and bright apartment in Paris’ First District, and it truly exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment I arrived, we were impressed by how clean and well-maintained the apartment was. It was clear that the host takes great care in providing a comfortable and welcoming space. The apartment had all of the wonderful amenities I could possibly need for a relaxing stay, from a fully-equipped kitchen to a cozy living space, which made it feel like home.What truly made this stay memorable was its location. It was within walking distance to all of the key sites in Paris—everything from the Louvre to the Seine River was just a short stroll away! We loved being able to explore the city so easily, with cafes, shops, and iconic landmarks all right at my doorstep.Speaking of the host, Henri was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout out stay, offering great recommendations for local spots and ensuring that I had everything I needed. I couldn't have asked for a better host or a more delightful apartment to stay in. If you’re looking for a perfect base to explore Paris, this apartment is a must-book - especially for couples.Highly recommend!

Fabulous location & large for a Paris 1 bedroom apt!

Lovely apartment in a fantastic location, close to everything you need. The space was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it a great choice for our stay. The only downside is that it’s on the 4th floor with no elevator, which might be a challenge for some. However, the hosts awesome communication, the large size & charm of the apartment more than make up for it!

Gorgeously Curated Flat in Paris

My partner and I enjoyed our time here tremendously! The flat is superbly decorated and has all the amenities you could want for an extended stay in Paris. Check-in and check-out were easy. The location is within walking distance to many of Paris's main attractions. There is also a grocery store within a short walk for the days you feel like taking it easy and having a chill day inside. We loved it and would recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy Paris with their significant other.

Beautifully appointed French apartment

We wanted to explore a new neighborhood and this delivered more than could have imagined. Our host was welcoming and prepared us for everything. The choices of restaurants, conveniences and location to Rue de Rivoli made it great for walking in central Paris. Short walk to Le Maria’s and Latin Quarter. The 4th floor location keeps you honest! Having the washer and dryer makes packing so much easier. The controls for the apartment on the iPad was convenient. All of the comforts of home including espresso machine and coffee press! C’est Formidable!

incredible apartment and amazing location

This apartment could not have been a more perfect way to experience Paris. We loved berthing about it from the beautiful interiors, thoughtful design, and exceptional location. The hosts were gracious and accommodating and all expectations were exceeded for our stay. Definitely one of the best apartment I have ever stayed in!

This place is a must!

This place is a must. The perfect stay for our romantic vacation! The apartment's style and little touches were beautiful, making us feel totally at home, I found it even better than the pictures actually! One important point: There is no elevator but stairs, our host gave us notice and explained that it’s quite common in old Parisian buildings, but I do recommend small suitcases. Completely worth it tough. Thank you Henri for a wonderful stay!

This apartment is located in the 1st arrondissement of Paris near the Louvre, it cannot be more central! You're living in Le Marais - Les Halles area a few feet from the subway station "Chatelet les Halles" which gives easy access to all Paris. You have plenty to do already at a walking distance such as visiting le Louvre and the royal garden les Tuileries, the modern art museum Beaubourg, walking on the Seine banks to Notre Dame, the Luxembourg Gardens and the Latin Quarter, shopping at La Samaritaine and in Saint Honoré famous street. Aside from being one of the most historical and oldest part of the city with beautiful architecture at every corner, it's also a vibrant and dynamic neighborhood with many small shops and restaurants to discover. At night you can find both quiet places and nice bars, depending on the mood and all accessible by walk!

When we renovated the place, we wanted to keep the charm of the old (with the stone wall, wooden beams and floors) and add a modern twist. The place is filled with many plants to bring a bit of nature in the city. It took us time and energy to do this right and we hope now you can enjoy this bright and cosy nest in the heart of Paris!
